	I'd cut down the time slightly, it leaves time to type random territories into each box and hope it works. Also, I'd take out the dept/region clues, they make the guessing easier ;)

	Good suggestions. I thought 3 minutes was pretty short. I'll watch the results and comments and maybe shorten it. I'm not sure what to do about the usage notes. I wanted to provide full disclosure as to the status of the flags; they weren't intended to be clues. Even knowing the flags and territories myself, I don't feel helped much at all by the labels. I think most test-takers will simply be looking at the flags during the test rather than making use of the clues to narrow down their guess from 11 to 4. But I'll watch the comments for further suggestions about this. Thanks again.

	Only the regional flag (used in this quiz) has anything resembling an official status. Without question, the official national flag is the French tricolor. There have been many proposed flags, but they are in use, by and large, only by their promoting organizations and have never been accepted as official or even used widely as local flags. 	**** TO ALL SPORCLERS: When rating this (or any) image-based quiz, please consider that user-created quizzes have severe limitations when it comes to graphics and images. It takes a great deal of effort even to get an image quiz to look as good as this one. No amount of user effort or creativity can make an image quiz look anywhere near as nice and user-friendly and professional-looking as the admin-created quizzes. If I could make quizzes like theirs, I would! Thank you.

	An unofficial flag of Saint Martin: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/ec/Flag_of_Saint-Martin_%28local%29.svg/200px-Flag_of_Saint-Martin_%28local%29.svg.png However, as you said, the French flag is the only official flag there.

	@FreakyFlyBry: Thanks for the input. I've seen that flag. I had to make subjective decisions regarding which unofficial flags to use. For Saint Martin, here's why (along with total impression I got from other sources) I omitted its unofficial flags (from http://flagspot.net/flags/mf.html): "None of the two flags shown above can be seen anywhere on the island. The local political leaders never seen nor heard about them. The coat of arms is widely used by the municipality of Saint-Martin on letterheads and official documents, but not on a flag."
