| It's actually really odd to look at how much HoF type talent, combined with hall of very good-type talent, has been on the Cubs at various times since the 60s. The baseball-reference site has a year by year, team by team list of Hall of Famers on a team, and the Cubs is embarrassing considering the performance. It'll get worse when Maddux goes in. And that's not counting hall of very good (or, steroid case) type guys like Sosa, Palmeiro, Grace, Holtzman, Hands, Sutcliffe, Lee Smith, and on and on. |
