Obviously, this is a personal list. The omission of Brandon Roy makes it a total joke.
Nov 11th, 2009 at 04:03 GMT
Absolutely terrible. Juwan Howard? Jerry Stackhouse? Ben Wallace? I could go on. Not to mention you left off Brandon Roy, Rajon Rondo, and had Granger as a bonus answer.
Nov 11th, 2009 at 04:10 GMT
This is too funny. I don't think Michael Finley's mom would have ever put him on a top 50 list.
Nov 11th, 2009 at 04:12 GMT
JUWAN HOWARD????? when did you make this? 1999? He isn't even in the leauge. did you mean JOSH HOWARD?
Nov 11th, 2009 at 04:20 GMT
i read the title and gave it a 1 out of 5 for how bad i knew it was gonna be, then i read everyone else's comments and i wish i couldve given it a 0 for the names left off and the scrubs that made this
Nov 11th, 2009 at 04:33 GMT
hahaha Richard Jefferson and yet no Al Jefferson
Nov 11th, 2009 at 04:35 GMT
I'm surprised you didn't put yourself on this list.
Nov 11th, 2009 at 04:54 GMT
@stfrit: Juwan Howard is a member of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Brandon Roy, Rajon Rondo, heck, even Jameer Nelson! And I'm guessing this is based on history, so why have Ben Wallace (13 years) on here and also Kevin Durant (all of two years). I admit Durant is one of the best players in the league, but he has too short of a career to be compiled on a list of greats if history is involved.

top 50 based on what??
Nov 11th, 2009 at 05:34 GMT
Devin Harris, David West...?
Nov 11th, 2009 at 06:19 GMT
@ddpBANG: Maybe, but he still sucks. So does Ben Wallace. Brandon Roy, Rondo, Danny Granger (why is he even a bonus answer? And are you implying, with that, that Jermaine O'Neal is as qualified as a bonus answer as Granger is?), Devin Harris, Al Jefferson, Baron Davis...I think you could make a top 50 of players that should be on this list before Ben Wallace and Juwan Howard.
Nov 11th, 2009 at 12:46 GMT
Kevin Martin? If you want to make this quiz, at least use like top 50 fantasy players or something
Nov 11th, 2009 at 13:07 GMT
this is absurd. juwan howard over brandon roy? by "active" you obviously mean "i haven't watched basketball in five years and don't feel the need to do any research before making a quiz". terrible.

Worst quiz not only in the history of Sporcle, but in the history of the Internet. What, you couldn't find room for Jarron Collins, Scalabrine and Austin Croshere?
Nov 11th, 2009 at 14:57 GMT
You forgot John Koncac and Manute Bol on this list!!!!! LOOOOL Worst quiz ever!!
Nov 11th, 2009 at 15:02 GMT
Opinion quizzes do not work. I wish people would stop making them.
Nov 11th, 2009 at 16:40 GMT
So let me get this straight, because I think you put this in order. Ben Wallace, a stiff with no offensive game and a diminishing defensive one, is the 13th best player in the league and Chris Paul, the best point guard in the game, is the 31st best player? Right, ok makes sense to me. And may I just add to the chorus of people saying Juwan Howard wtf?
Nov 11th, 2009 at 17:56 GMT
i typed in "roy", saw it not accepted, and simply sighed in dismay for the sad soul who made this list.
Nov 11th, 2009 at 20:21 GMT
I assume that he made this ranking of active players BASED OFF OF THEIR WHOLE CAREER. That would be the only logical explanation for including Finley and Howard but not Roy. That said, anything that has no link and a 1 rating is probably not worth playing. Glad I never started this.
Nov 11th, 2009 at 20:57 GMT
Not only is this a terrible opinion quiz, the color scheme is nauseating.
Nov 11th, 2009 at 21:02 GMT
Even if he made them off their whole career (which makes sense, because with his knees, right now Tracy Mcgrady can't play DDR to well, much less dunk) that still doesn;t make up for the omission of Peja Stojakovic.
Nov 11th, 2009 at 21:26 GMT
No Eddy Curry?
Nov 11th, 2009 at 21:44 GMT
hopes this a joke... Juwan??? and Why isnt Deron Williams in the top 25 (or 20)
Nov 11th, 2009 at 23:49 GMT
Allen Iverson? Really? The guy not even starting for the GRIZZLIES?
Nov 11th, 2009 at 23:56 GMT
no reason for stackhouse to be on this list, and no reason to not have jason terry on this list.. dittos to all the other omissions above.. yea and lamar odom is wayyy better than chris paul and dwight howard.. uh huh right
Nov 11th, 2009 at 23:56 GMT
I honestly cannot believe he left off Adam Morrison and JJ Redick. These guys are obviously top 50 talent and their omission is beyond me. What a joke!
Nov 11th, 2009 at 23:57 GMT
For all of you. This is the maker of this quiz. There is no specific order, just the order I decided to put them puts some of the best at the top. Iverson has won an MVP, and I forgot Brandon Roy. This is based on they're whole career, not just how they play now. I will replace Juwon Howard with Brandon Roy.

Feb 8th, 2010 at 17:07 GMT

Mar 4th, 2010 at 19:16 GMT
