When you said "nationality", it appeared you were looking for an adjective form, such as chinese, not the country, which is a noun. It only took me a few seconds to figure out you wanted the country, but it should have said the "country of origin" or some similar indication that you wanted the country.

Bermuda isn't a country, and Congo could refer to either the Democratic Republic of Congo or the Republic of Congo. It's standard for Sporcle quizzes to is use the full names of those countries.

Yes, and the moon landing was faked, the holocaust is a Jewish conspiracy for sympathy, Darfur's a conspiracy to fund the next U2 album, the Pope has children, and you're not an ****.

The quiz is a lovely tribute but also educational. Really makes a person reflect, as well as thinking. I'm now getting curious what the specific national breakdown was on the planes themselves and/or in NYC and/or at the Pentagon. Of course they were all martyrs; I'm just intellectually curious about that. Does your source info have a breakdown?

Perhaps someone reading this will do a separate quiz for the national origins of the hijackers who died; would be interesting to test ourselves on how many were from Iraq, how many from Afghanistan, etc. I am presuming of course that those criminals were not included on THIS quiz!

While this is really just another "name as many countries as you can think of" quiz, it is a very nice one and a fitting tribute to your father-in-law and the others. Hopefully it makes the main page.

Hilarity, since this quiz has been taken almost 800 times & still no one has gotten 100%, will you consider adding an extra minute, or even 30 seconds?

I'm from the UK and I'm surprised to see that more British died on 9/11 than in the 7/7 London bombings, which claimed 56 lives. I don't think many people realise that.

Seeing how many countries were affected by this tragedy...it really shows that something like this affects the world and not just the country it happened in. May we never forget the 2,977 people who lost their lives that day 10 years ago.

The only thing more far-reaching than the devastation ten years ago was the outpouring of support from allies and adversaries of the US alike. This list of countries is a reminder that we were *all* affected. I'm reminded of the headline of the French newspaper, Le Monde: "Nous sommes tous Américains,": "We are all Americans." Thanks, Sporcle, for a thoughtful remembrance.
