If you are going to accept United for DC United you should also accept definitely Galaxy. Actually I think you shouldn't just accept United because its a common soccer ending.

That's a tricky one. There are multiple pro teams named Jets, Giants, Cardinals, etc. and Sporcle standard is to accept just the name. I absolutely hear what you're saying, but for consistency's sake I'm going to accept just the nickname for each. Thanks, jonesjeffum.

It's a weird case, but the White Stockings who won in the AL are not the White Sox who won in the NL. Those are the Cubs.
