| I read the instructions and was aware of the convention you used. I also intuited that you did this to make it more challenging. But, while I may be in the minority, I am still not a fan of this technique. To me it seems somewhat inaccurate/disrespectful. People are generally allowed to decide for themselves what their names actually are--If the man born with the name James Paul McCartney wants to be known as Paul McCartney, then that's what he's known by. If Issur Danielovitch wants to be Kirk Douglas, then he's Kirk Douglas. If Michael Jackson wants to be Michael Jackson, then he's Michael Jackson. Just because J. P. McCartney, Izzy D., and Mikey Jackson are possible variants on those names does not mean--to me--that those actually count as those peoples' names. |
