Please tell me that having Harrison, Tyler, Fillmore and the answer that goes with them as part of this was inspired by a song from the Simpsons, because I got it pretty much immediately because of that song.

I was waiting for Matthew, Mark, Luke... and DUCK!

It's a good think I listen to the Rat Pack while reading the Old Testament.

lolol awesome quiz!

You do a great job of picking fourth items that have many meanings. For example, Brown, Cander, and Moody could have been part of many other sets than those listed. That's the attention to detail that sets your quizzes apart, Hejman!
Apr 7th, 2012 at 17:15 GMT
Woud appreciate a solution in the comments - this was fun but very hard for me, no idea what many of the sets are supposed to be even though I generally guessed them right.

@pat19- Thanks! That's what a makes a good quiz, though, regardless of who is making it. Particularly with the clickable quizzes, the "decoy" answers are key. For each group I took a moment and tried to find the answer that (if you were looking only at the answers) might fit readily in another group. Of course, the danger there is that you have to make sure that no answers fit two different categories. My favorite overlap here is that "Bishop" is both a clue and an answer, though that was actually accidental. @Nymerius- If you email me I'll send you the key (my address is in my Sporcle profile).

Figuring out that the one group was Harrison Ford characters took me a while, then it took me equally as long to realize "jones" was Indiana's last name. (facepalm)
Apr 12th, 2012 at 19:47 GMT
@Nymerius, after the quiz is over, you can click on each answer to see which question it really belongs to...or you can click the Prev and Next buttons to cycle through them.

Shoot. I guessed "spring" for the simple machines. It makes sense, and I didn't see screw...

@dcmldcml: Thats ok. I did the same thing and also did Genesis for signs of the zodiac because I was thinking Gemini.

Accidentally clicked Indiana instead of Jones

Luke, Han, Leia, Chewy. Really hope they're in Find a Fourth III.

I just realized how awesome a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher Legolas would have been...

just a heads up: you spelled DeutEronomy wrong.
May 7th, 2012 at 09:47 GMT
Ahh my four favourite Disney princesses. Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine and Riboflavin.
May 7th, 2012 at 10:10 GMT
Hejman... you've already used the great lakes in the first quiz...
May 7th, 2012 at 11:14 GMT
I could have sworn that "spring" was one of the basic tools. Some clever trick questions in this one.

@cheese7: no need to act all Superior
May 7th, 2012 at 13:15 GMT
Exodus, Deuteronomy, Leviticus, Thunderball. There. I just made the Bible awesome.
May 7th, 2012 at 14:07 GMT
Bah. Clicked on Genesis because I thought it was Gemini. That's got to be a "go directly to hell" answer.
May 7th, 2012 at 16:18 GMT
I would rate this 3 and then rate it 4.... but I will stick to 5!
May 7th, 2012 at 17:02 GMT
Gah...I read Sinatra as Sinistra and clicked it for the Harry Potter question.
May 7th, 2012 at 17:32 GMT
George, Paul, Ringo, and Sinatra would actually be kind of awesome.
May 7th, 2012 at 18:01 GMT
What can Brown do for you? Oh wait, that's something else.... :p

This quiz begs for a new function where text (in this case explanations) can be provided in the 3rd column and only shown when the quiz is completed.
May 7th, 2012 at 20:59 GMT
Very clever for Jones. I couldn't stop thinking of Harrison Ford roles.
May 7th, 2012 at 23:10 GMT
Exodus, Deuteronomy, Leviticus, and Legolas. Of course.
May 8th, 2012 at 01:08 GMT
Yeah, well, November, February, May, Indiana. Duh.
May 8th, 2012 at 01:26 GMT
Thunderball: the ultimate chess piece.
May 8th, 2012 at 03:23 GMT
Dirty trick putting in Indiana and Jones.
May 8th, 2012 at 09:23 GMT
Who were John Boy, Moody, Rudy, and Jones? I missed those and the results page doesn't clarify. Thanks!
May 8th, 2012 at 13:08 GMT
@Azazello- Walton children, Defense Against the Dark Arts Professors (Harry Potter), Cosby Show children and Harrison Ford characters.
May 10th, 2012 at 00:00 GMT
Yay for riboflavin! wrote a song about the stuff once!
May 27th, 2012 at 05:04 GMT
Fun! I for love... and some of them were easy enough to guess even though I didn't know them. :)
Oct 9th, 2012 at 20:56 GMT
I also chose spring for lever, wedge, pulley... I see now that it's not considered one of the six simple machines - I just wish I'd seen the seasons first!
