| Wherever possible, I tried to use a photo of the player in the moment remembered (or, in the case of the Yankees infielder who forgot how to throw, one of the many times it happened). In some cases that just wasn't possible because the photos had to be reasonably guessable. The two soccer photos are actually games against the U.S. The player in the bottom left, of course, having paid the ultimate price- he was murdered after returning home to Colombia following the game in which he scored the own goal against the U.S. |
