Many thanks to Googlebird for starting this idea. Check out her original quiz of famous people from St. Louis.

@Hejman - Thanks for supporting the idea. I didn't do well, but I loved the challenge. I was stuck at 7, and then suddenly James and Brooks jumped into my mind at the end. That was fun.

SANDY KOUFAX?!?!?!
OK, sorry for the unwarranted overreaction, but I'm fairly certain you mean Warren Spahn.

Yikes. Koufax is from Brooklyn. Spahn lived in Buffalo and Niagara Falls. Don't know what I was thinking there. Thanks for the catch, hscer.

Perhaps accept Clemens as alternative answer for row 4, column B?

Wow--I mean, no offense to Buffalo, but Mark Twain having lived there for two years puts him on the list of the 20 most famous Buffalonians? Sheesh.

@Tahnan, there are many, many famous Buffalonians (it was once amongst the nation's largest and most powerful cities), but few people will recognize photographs of 19th century scientists and captains of industry.
