So, here's the flip side of the 'Parting Shots' quizzes. These are the first things you see in these movies. There are movies here from the every decade from the '30s to the '00s. In response to the complaints that the images in Parting Shots 1 were too small to see, these images are 50% larger. I hope you find this enjoyable.

Nice mix of movies. I only got Young Frankensten because "Marty" is totally not a 1930s name. And who knew the opening shot of The Princess Bride looked so much like Poltergeist?

Hejman, for the Incredibles, I was expecting to see the first sequence where different superheroes are being interviewed. If I remember right, the first shot is Mr. Incredible holding his microphone saying "Is this thing on? Geez, I can break through walls I just can't..."

LTH- that series precedes and overlaps the credits so I used the sequence that immediately follows them instead.

I'm with
LTH
; I think of the interviews with the superheroes as being first.

@bruten- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is not the name of the movie. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is the name of the Roald Dahl book on which the movie is based and the 2005 movie adaptation of that book.

great quiz, except one thing might insult all of us nerds, it's star wars episode 4, not episode 1

Well, crud- I did that the last time I used it too! It's just that I'm old enough to remember it being the first Star Wars movie and so I always default to it as being #1. Fixed now.

The shot of Terminator 2 looks like it could have been taken out of The Killers' video for Bones.

I'm giving this quiz a 5 just because it includes Rocky Horror. Awesome.

Is there a reason you don't accept "The 3 Musketeers"? Some great choices here!

@dashoff- only that I didn't think to do it! I'll add it, and thanks for the suggestion.

Can you accept Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, I read what you said earlier and accept your argument, however I can never remember whether the book is 'Charlie and...' or 'Willy Wonka and...'. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets confused between the titles

Am I the only one who thinks the picture from the Rocky Horror Picture show looks like a picture from a Dairy Queen ad?

Anyone else try "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "Willy Wonka" and wonder why they didn't get it right? Time for bed..

Thanks for the Three Musketeers, you rarely see that as an answer and I think that that movie might just be Charlie Sheen's best work.

Nice quiz, kudos for including Three Musketeers, I really liked that movie as a kid. =D My only problem with this is that some of the pictures are too dark to see clearly but that's a minor complaint, well done!

This is the flip side of the three Parting Shots quizzes. This one wasn't as popular in the ratings, so I never made any more. I hope you'll find it enjoyable none the less.

to be fair, the Rocky Horror lips are way more sexually suggestive than the Dairy Queen ones, except in that one ad for the Butterfinger Blizzard

@torerodrizzle- I'm sneaky that way, sometimes. @burywmore- Hey, I have two kids, it just comes naturally. But seriously, those are all awesome movies.

I liked it. A lot of old movies is fun. I'd play more like this, but then again I'd play a lot more where I score in the 97th percentile.

Some of these seemed a little less prominent, as movies go. (I mean, I *got* Guys and Dolls, and James and the Giant Peach, and I still wonder if they're a little obscure as choices for this quiz.)

kept singing "New York, New York, that toddlin' town" and it didn't do me a bit of good. Fun quiz, though.
