	I went for moneybag as well. Maybe I would have gotten bogeyman if it was spelled with 2 o's like I've always seen it.

	Argh, it's 'dalmatiOns' all over again! Seriously though, the correct spelling is 'bogeyman' (at least according to Webster and the OED). 'Boogieman' is an alternate (though sounds to me like someone who like to Boogie).

	I don't know what it has to do with Halloween but I couldn't get past moneybag either. Once something is stuck in your head, it's hard to see it as anything else.

	There are many places where it is spelled "boogeyman". There was a movie with that spelling, there was a pro wrestler (a rather stupid one) with that spelling, and when you type bogeyman into a google search bar, it recommends the spelling with the two o's. Wikipedia has it being spelled either way.

	@bigjoeco- Well, if we're letting Hollywood determine how to spell things, then Inglorious Basterds, The Pursuit of Happyness, Pet Sematary, Mortal Kombat and Antz have all rewritten the dictionary. I'll stick with Webster and the OED as a source of reliable information.
