I thought Jessica Seinfeld was Julia Roberts. I kept trying different spellings for Lyle Lovett. Good quiz.

While it's a good quiz I find it really irksome that some of the women are listed by their husband's surnames and some by their own. You don't have to be Germaine Greer to find that annoying!! Michelle Obama, Jessica Seinfeld and Laura Bush did have surnames before they were married you know....
| Hejman: | Dec 21st, 2011 at 17:48 GMT | | 15 points |
@Reensie- The brides are listed by the names by which they are commonly known. Michele Obama is not known widely as Michele Robinson. On the other hand, Lauren Bacall never appeared in movie credits as Lauren Bogart. You don't have to be CherrĂe Moraga to conclude that these women have the right to make their own decisions about whether to take their husband's names or not and that we ought to honor the decisions that they make, which is what I've done here.

Were we really supposed to be able to recognize Jessica Seinfeld?
| Hejman: | Dec 23rd, 2011 at 23:15 GMT | | 2 points |
Point taken, Fidelio. I have an image queued up to replace it. As soon as the Christmas weekend is over and everyone is back to work at Sporcle HQ, I'll send it in and get it swapped out. Thanks for the excellent feedback.

What is the deal with Victoria Beckham never smiling? I know there are a couple other non smiling photos here, but Ive seen those other people smile. But her, of course she's not smiling for her wedding photo.

I was sure Jessica Seinfeld was Idina Menzel and I kept thinking I was spelling Taye Diggs wrong. And that picture of Rita Wilson is like a cross between MacKenzie Phillips and Mariah Carey. I also typed in Nick Cannon about 100 times.

If you wanted to be really mean, you could have tossed in one of Elizabeth Taylor's wedding photos.

Did you blur out their faces or is this really what men look like on their wedding day?

Nice, Kid Rock. Getting married in a white t-shirt. Classy.

Poor old Katie Holmes, you can see the despair in her eyes and forced smile. At least she got out now.

Shoud have known Victora Beckham wouldn't even smile on her wedding day.

I love Rita Wilson, but could no way recognize her on that pic. and I'm too young to imagine that Mia Farrow was actually good-looking (guessed all around that era though). Fun quiz

This would be a lot easier if you found better pictures. I can't believe every picture had blurry faces.

Yippee. I got all of them right. I guess I know my celebrity marriages. ha, such useful trivia. Since the females were in focus, it was easy.

This quiz reminds me how different some women look on their wedding day compared to men, who generally look the same. Some of these gals actually look better in their ordinary lives without the extra makeup and the strange hairstyling (Kate Middleton and Lauren Bacall being noted exceptions ... they always look good).

| I did not recognize Sarah Jessica Parker or Rita Wilson at all. (Not a flattering photo of Rita!) And Jada Pinkett is so small, I kept guessing basketball players!
Good quiz |

I really wish we could enlarge the photos. I guess that is part of it - having to squint to see the pictures. I could tell it was Victoria Beckham by that silly high fashion pout. I wish someone would tell her she looks ridiculous.

What's the source for the Obama photo? No evidence of their wedding exists, other than a divorce filing.

This should have been called "name that bride" I was not a fan of the blurred pictures.
| glynndah: | Jul 18th, 2012 at 22:17 GMT | | 4 points |
I think the whole point was to name the groom based on the bride, hence the blurring of the man's face.
