F'in Bono and Edge with their silly stage names.

Nice quiz. A bit too easy though, e.g. Keith and Mick, anyone would get the Rolling Stones from that alone. Maybe you could have gone with Brian and Charlie instead? Still giving you 4/5 though

The Bee Gees one made me LOL.

Good idea, but I was hoping for more of challenge. First names make it too easy.

Not bad, but you don't actually have to know the meeting story of the band. It's kind of just "Can you name the band based on the first names of the members mentioned?"

Great quiz with a touch of wit!

A few were a little tricky, but too many names given in the clues. Still enjoyed it.

Too bad you didn't include The Offspring. Their guitarist (Noodles) was a janitor at the high school they attended (supposedly).

nicely done. even those of us who aren't fans of some of the groups can figure it out using logic and process of elimination :)

@rich32: almost all of these are classic, all-time bands. even the couple that aren't are huge for their place in time. the reason that the offspring aren't on this quiz is because very few people who know these bands would even consider recognizing them. basically the same reason that creed, nickelback and puddle of mudd didn't make the cut.

You're very tricky with your "Paul and David"...

I liked the Bee Gees the best. :)

Beach Boys might've been fun. Three brothers (Brian, Carl, Dennis in birth order), one cousin (Mike Love). Probably wdve met at family birthday parties or days at the beach playing in the sand.
