	Yes, and many countries have made a declaration of independence. Moscow also has a White House (can you see Russia's White House from your White House?). Stuff happened in other parts of the world in 1776. So what? It's not that the quiz said that these terms are for the US only, nor that they describe true concepts, but that they have a meaning for the US.

	As an Australian I didn't get some of them as I hadn't ever heard the phrases, specifically Manifest Destiny and E Pluribus Unum. Anyone care to explain what they relate to?

	@milc- E Pluribus Unum translates from the Latin to "Out of many, one." It has been on the official seal of the United States since 1776 and on coins since 1786. It recognizes the 'great melting pot' idea of Americans coming from a variety of national and ethnic backgrounds as well as the unification of the colonies into a single nation. 'Manifest Destiny' was a termed coined in 1845 during the presidency of James K. Polk to support westward expansion to the Pacific Ocean.
