| Make sure to accept the show's actual title "Diff'rent' Strokes." |

| So much hair in some of these pictures... Nice Quiz! |

| I have to admit, even I had forgotten the sitcom that is currently well down in last place. If anyone has an idea for a replacement for that image, please feel free to suggest it. |

| We Got It Made ...don't even remember that one |
 | Hejman: | May 7th, 2012 at 00:27 GMT | | 1 point |
| I initially included We Got it Made because the list of 80s sitcoms I was working off of said it ran from 1983-1988. In fact, it ran for only two seasons and then was in syndication in '87-88. I have replaced it with a show that ran from the late 80s into the early 90s. |

| You should not accept Cosby for The Cosby Show. Cosby was a completely different show that ran on CBS from 1996-2000. IMO, this is like accepting The Lucy Show for I Love Lucy. I know you are trying to be as lenient as you can to make the quiz enjoyable, but in this case accuracy should be adhered to. |

| @Troy94- I hear what you're saying, and have the same problem with any quiz that accepts any of Bob Newhart's shows. Unfortunately, The Cosby Show was nearly universally referred to as "Cosby" (I can't go bowling tonight, Cosby is on!) during its run and so it seems ridiculous not to accept it. |

| I know you can find these shows on here and there, but there should really be a channel that specifically plays these shows- AND ONLY THESE SHOWS- on a constant loop 24/7. I might not watch anything else ever again. Great quiz |

| You should get 5 globes for the quiz and 5 globes for the URL. Uh-mazing. |

| I am an uncultured buffoon: skipped right over the Shakespeare quiz and went right for the comedies, which I darn near aced. (Stupid "Dear John"...grrrr) |

| Got em all except Benson- never heard of it. Must not have been on any Canadian Channels. (No cable growing up... rough childhood) |
 | King_of_Macomb: | May 9th, 2012 at 18:47 GMT | | 42 points |
| Does every sitcom cast have to pose like that? Where'd they get the pictures taken, Sears Portrait Studio? |
 | ElisDaddy: | May 9th, 2012 at 18:58 GMT | | 2 points |
| Radical!!! @King_of_Macomb: Could be. My guess is all these shows made a TV Guide cover at some point. I've noticed they still sell TV Guide. I don't think I want to know who buys it. |

| I must have watched a different Charles in Charge growing up, I thought the family had two daughters, one being Nicole Eggert. Not two boys and what looks to be Screech from Saved by the Bell... |

| Does anyone else have sporcle-related partial blindness? On quizzes like this, I inevitably overlook one REALLY obvious clue (in this case Golden Girls) and then facepalm as soon as I hit "Give up". |

| Oh, Punky...You have a dog named Brandon. |

| @jholls: Yeah, me too. Who ARE those people??? I didn't even notice because I just saw Scott Baio and entered the answer. Maybe they had two casts over the years? |
 | StoneCold: | May 9th, 2012 at 19:20 GMT | | 5 points |
| @Jholls_00 & @Lyn_Marie: According to IMDB, the first season was a different cast. |
 | Hejman: | May 9th, 2012 at 19:22 GMT | | 10 points |
| The cast of Charles in Charge did indeed change. The photo included here is the Season 1 cast photo and includes the Pembrooke family who were in the cast in 1984 and 1985 when the show ran on CBS. It was then cancelled due to low ratings. When it was revived in syndication from 1987-1990, Scott Baio and Willie Aames were back, but now with the completely new Powell family. |

| Peter Scolari was hilarious in Bosom Buddies, but whatever happened to that other guy? |

| It was the facepalm heard 'round the internet. I missed (didn't see, but still) ALF. |

| I have never had to spell out "Bosom" before. Kinda awkward yelling out "Honey, how do you spell bosom?" |

| @Rockgolf, there are times I wish Tom Hanks stayed with comedies, especially on TV. His timing, reactions and facial expressions are amazing. His guest spots on Family Ties alone were incredible. Also up there is his appearance on the Taxi episode where Jim first tires the magic brownies. |

| Also, the way Newhart ended its run HAS to be the best way any show has gone out. Not only does one of the Daryls speak, but he wakes up next to Suzanne Pleshette as Dr. Bob Hartley!! |

| Streaks on the China. never mattered before. Who cared? When I dropped kick my jacket as I came through the door, no one glared. Good luck getting that out of your head. Thanks Sporcle. |

| I now have a hankering to park it on the couch for hours just watching all these shows again. |

| Whenever I think of "Gimme a Break" (which is rarely), all I can picture is that goldfish disappearing into the vacuum cleaner in the opening credit sequence. Does anyone else remember that? I didn't dream it, did I? |

| I thought the Seavers had three kids, two boys and a girl? Oh wow, I looked up the show on IMDB. I thought the one with glasses was a boy. It's Tracey Gold though. |

| 13 isn't bad considering I only know these shows through pop culture osmosis. (The only one of these I ever seen a complete episode of is Cheers.) |

| 1. I missed Punky Brewster because I didn't notice it was her. You'd think she'd have been more central in that shot.
2. Won't lie, I was a little disappointed "Brocktoon" didn't work for Mr. Belvedere.
3. "My Two Dads" would be the title for a very different show these days. |
 | dc1011: | May 10th, 2012 at 00:13 GMT | | 4 points |
| @monstro -- you didn't dream it...it really was part of the opening sequence. But I have to admit, I forgot about it until I saw your comment. |
