	The exodus to Hollywood from other movie-making locations (particularly Florida) happened in the early days of movies. In 1910 and 1911 most of the early studios moved to southern California. By 1912, the movie industry was largely centered there and so we are coming to the close of the first century of major commercial cinema- a perfect time to quiz everyone on the top 300 grossing actors of the 1st 100 years!

	The quiz is NOT limited to the headlining stars and is real dollars (not adjusted for inflation). Thus, you'll find a good mix of major, top-billed stars, supporting actors and character actors. Voice actors are included. Because of these factors, think recent (sorry, Humphrey Bogart), repetitive roles (I'm lookin' at you, C3PO), high grossing series (Jack Sparrow meets Harry Potter!) and people who seem to pop up in everything (what's worse, snakes on a plane or velociraptors in your maintenance building?).

	To make the quiz, I took the full top grossing list. I then removed people who make only cameos or play themselves (Stan Lee, Larry King and Jay Leno were in the top 300). Then, I went through the list of each and every actor and cross-referenced their list with IMDB and other sources removing bit-parts, uncredited roles, cameos (especially when the actor appeared as 'himself' or 'herself'), stunt appearances and the catch-all listings of 'extra' and 'additional voices'. I re-did the math to remove the dollar amounts from those films and then re-sorted the list into the top 300 you see here. Enjoy!

	Nicolas Cage, no H, but talk about nitpicking! Great quiz. Even though I failed miserably. But fwiw, I'm proudest of thinking of #4. Meanwhile, I was most surprised by the absence of Russell Crowe.

	@AngrySi- I would too, but I can't find any source that does that and doing it manually would require getting a conversion rate for every single year in the last 100 years and then going through thousands of actors and manually converting each film. A team of people working around the clock might be able to accomplish that in a year or two. Working by myself, I might be able to do it before I turn 100!

	The top four grossing actors are known for voice acting in animated films and TV programs. Three of them had roles in Pixar films (this includes John Ratzenberger from "Cheers," who has a part in every Pixar flick)
