| @druhutch: Yeah, Hasbro's been making a big push in the past couple years to get movies of their various properties. From the sounds of it, though, a lot of them are getting rejected by Universal now (they were the studio in question for most). Battleship is a done deal, and Stretch Armstrong and Candyland (with Adam Sandler, of all people) are apparently going forward elsewhere. I think the rest are currently back in limbo, where they belong. (I have a movie blog, so I've been keeping up on this hilarious train wreck.) |
