If you want the SHOW, why are you asking for the COMPANY?
Nov 15th, 2011 at 08:18 GMT
I saw Goliath National Bank and my instant thought was 'They've made a Thursday Next TV series?'
Nov 15th, 2011 at 18:15 GMT
Accept Torchwood for Torchwood Institute please!
Nov 15th, 2011 at 19:01 GMT
Yeah Torchwood should be an alternative answer

Anyway "Looney Toons" could be accepted? It's kinda a brain fart on my part, but that's what I typed, and got so confused when it didn't work. Also, you should make another one of these and include Veridian Dynamics from "Better off Ted." Such an underrated show.
Nov 16th, 2011 at 14:55 GMT
This is another great one!

I've watched all 4 seasons of Mad Men and do not remember ever seeing that logo, or hearing the firm referred to by initials.
Nov 18th, 2011 at 15:25 GMT
@Happ_Hazzard I just finished watching the fourth season, and I remember seeing the logo on the wall in the background a number of times.
Nov 18th, 2011 at 15:26 GMT
@Happ_Hazzard- The logo is actually copied from a still photo of the sign hanging behind the receptionist's desk in the company lobby.
Nov 18th, 2011 at 15:27 GMT
There must be a mistake, it wouldn't accept Jersey Shore for "Cheesy Poofs".
Nov 18th, 2011 at 15:45 GMT
Acme is prominently featured in Animaniacs and Tiny Toons. Tiny Toons even takes place in Acme Acres.
Nov 18th, 2011 at 15:48 GMT
When was there ever a logo for Vandelay Industries?
Nov 18th, 2011 at 16:00 GMT
I'm shocked/sad that Futurama is in the bottom five.
Nov 18th, 2011 at 16:29 GMT
I wish Laverne and Shirley were higher--because that would mean that more people had been watching Wayne's World.
Nov 18th, 2011 at 16:38 GMT
I don't know much about Doctor Who, but I do know that a show named Torchwood at some point existed so I just guessed that and got the cheap answer
Nov 18th, 2011 at 17:01 GMT
thanks to whoever it was that commented somewhere the other day that "torchwood" is an anagram of "doctor who"--that's the only reason i got it, lol.

Oceanic Airlines is famous for its use in Lost, but has been used as a fictional airline in several TV shows and movies, including Alias, which is a JJ Abrams production, as is Lost.

I usually hate it when people bring up what a quiz is "missing", but...no Paddy's Pub?
Nov 18th, 2011 at 17:28 GMT
Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures and Alias are all added as alternate answers on their respective questions.
Nov 18th, 2011 at 17:40 GMT
Veridian Dynamics - Making your world better. Whether you want us to or not. (That was all I could think of when I saw "Vandelay".)
Nov 18th, 2011 at 18:00 GMT
I guess the Cheers logo would be kind of a dead giveaway, huh?
Nov 18th, 2011 at 18:07 GMT
yeah, i don't think even mad men fans would recognize that Sterling-Cooper-Draper-Price logo.
Nov 18th, 2011 at 18:17 GMT
I got the mad men logo.....

Schotz Beer was where the title characters worked, but before that, the beer was seen on Happy Days.
Nov 18th, 2011 at 20:11 GMT
What no Reptar cereal?
Nov 18th, 2011 at 20:23 GMT
Thanks, itswhatiam, I've added Happy Days as an alternative answer on that question.

One fictional company should have been included: Commercial: Veridian Dynamics. Competition: whether it's animals, or this old woman and baby, fighting to the death. Competition makes us stronger. In business, that means better products: pills that look like candy, hands that can shoot lightning, and a new generation of hurricane-proof dogs. Veridian Dynamics. Competition. It makes everything better.
Nov 18th, 2011 at 20:38 GMT
Vandelay? I've seen that episode 1000 times-no logo.
Nov 18th, 2011 at 20:52 GMT
@Poison76- That logo was never featured on the show (it being a fictional company even in its fictional setting). It was made by someone afterwards for t-shirts, coffee mugs, mouse pads, etc. It is featured here because it's a fictional company and because anyone familiar with Seinfeld will likely recognize it instantly.

Where's Blue Sun?
Nov 18th, 2011 at 23:16 GMT
Doctor Who is in the bottom three?! Seriously sporclers, you HAVE to watch it!!
Nov 18th, 2011 at 23:35 GMT
No "Slurm" from Futurama?
Nov 19th, 2011 at 00:19 GMT
Can't believe "Binford" is so low!!! Come on people, Home Improvement was such a great show!! (Maybe they're all guessing "Tool Time" ...??)
Nov 19th, 2011 at 00:57 GMT
"Taste the meat, not the heat."
Nov 19th, 2011 at 02:25 GMT
Can't believe I missed Mad Men, one of my favorite shows. That was a tough one.
Nov 19th, 2011 at 10:27 GMT
Wow, that Shotz logo is really something XD
Nov 19th, 2011 at 14:56 GMT
How do I even know some of this stuff? I swear that I have never watched some of these shows, yet when called upon, my brain pulled the answers out of its proverbial ass. In any case, this quiz has driven home to me yet again that I have spent far too much of my life watching television.
Nov 19th, 2011 at 18:08 GMT
I can't believe so few get Vandelay Industries. You'd need a logo on the show to understand where that comes from?
Nov 20th, 2011 at 21:22 GMT
I like the selection here, but it would be nice to see Massive Dynamic.
