	Technically, #1 is not a dinosaur at all, due to it's semi-upright stance and differing hip bone evolution. It is closely related to dinosaurs, however, and having appeared in two of the three Jurassic Park movies, its inclusion here seemed logical.

	Great quiz, and I agree with the above comment. Very common mistake about Pteradon actually being a dinosaur, but it belongs on the quiz nonetheless. If I remember my dinosaurs correctly, general rule is that if it swims or flies, it's not a dinosaur. My inner ten year old is also telling me that Brontosaurus and Brachiosaurus are different dinosaurs. However, Brontosaurus and Apatosaurus are one and the same, and the name Apatosaurus came first.

	I had a PS2 game named Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. The purpose of the game is to create our "Jurassic Park". I was quite addicted to this game therefore I knew all the dinosaurs in the game. Among those dinosaurs were ( logically ) nearly all the ones in the pictures. 5 Years ago, I would've had 13, today I only have 7 =(. Sorry for telling the story of my life. =)

	The little dinosaurs are Procompsognathus, not Compsognathus. Good quiz otherwise.

	Actually, Detektor, Crichton's book refers to Procomsognathus, but the dinosaur depicted in the movie is referred to by the characters as Compsognathus. Whether that's a mistake in the depiction or a mistake in the dialogue, I'm not sure. In either case, both answers are accepted here.

	"pterosaur" is a general term that could apply for #1 .... for answers like "spinosaurus", "spinosaur" should be accepted. @Nameless ... I hear you loud and clear ... welcome to old age.

	@kolebott- It's one of several abbreviations on here. Elvis, Raptor, Trike and T-Rex are the others.

	I don't remember Ceratosaurus being in the movies. It must have been in #3, which I have tried to forget. Also, I thought they were diplodocus' for #12

	@shelb014- Ceratosaurus appears only in Jurassic Park III (and in neither novel). I don't believe that Diplodocus appears in any of the three movies nor the two Crichton novels.

	I think "Friar Tuck" was referring to Pachycephalosaurus. Also a few nits to pick: while spinosaur for Spinosaurus (and so on) is reasonable, Parasaur shouldn't count for Parasaurolophus. Rex in Tyrannosaurus rex is not supposed to be capitalized. Also Tegan, pterosaur shouldn't count for Pteranodon any more than sauropod should count for both Brachiosaurus and Mamenchisaurus. That said, excellent quiz.

	Excellent points, camilo. Friar tuck was referring to Pachycephalosaurus because the cranial bone structure resembles the bald head of friar tuck- not sure why I couldn't remember that. The capital 'R' has been demoted.

	I was annoyed at myself because I spelled Mamenchisaurus and Compsognathus wrong (otherwise I would have gotten them all), but I also agree with the first comment that says a pteranodon is not a dinosaur.

	@arkman- The Certasour appears in Jurassic Park III. It finds the characters covered in Spinosaurus dung, sniffs them and then leaves.
