| A really good quiz, I think. There were so many where I was thinking "I know that voice!", but I couldn't put my finger on it. Ah well, at least I recognised Alan Rickman alright. |

| Nice quiz! I'm surprised I was able to get 12 of them, but I can't believe I didn't recognize Michael Palin! It's so obvious now that I know it's him! :D |
 | Hejman: | Jan 6th, 2011 at 20:13 GMT | | 2 points |
| @msk105- My kids actually have an audio book version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory read by Eric Idle, but with Cleese and Palin already on the quiz, I didn't want to over-Python it! |

| Really great quiz! However, the story Jack Nicholson is reading is 'How the Elephant got it's Trunk'. |

| Johnny Cash reading "The Bible" is one of the most brilliant ideas anyone has ever had.
P.S. Great quiz |

| Hejman, another great quiz. |

| Wow, Meg Ryan and Julia Roberts sound so similar. |

| Also, sad to see a lack of Stephen Fry reading Harry Potter - that just made my childhood! |

| I had to open up the audio in a different tab. It wouldn't work on the page, which made it a little tough to skip around after my first run through. Is it working alright for everyone else, or is something wrong with the page? |

| Excellent quiz! I already can't wait for a follow up. |

| Too many pommies! Stick with Americans, so I can recognize them! |

| I'm surprised so few people got Garrison Keillor (unless they just couldn't spell the name)
Excellent quiz. |

| couldn't spell Keillor. I tried everything i could think of, but they all ended in "er". |

| Can't believe I missed Alan Rickman - shortly after I'd just watched the hilarious family guy clip with his answering machine... |

| Wow, color me surprised that so few people got Burt Reynolds. Also: Johnny Cash reading the Bible sounds awesome. |

| who guessed morgan freeman before they even got to his recording? |
 | theGrit: | Jan 21st, 2011 at 19:04 GMT | | 22 points |
| Alan Rickman could read me the directions off the back of a bottle of toilet cleaner, and I'd still be rapt with attention. |

| was it just me or did Yertle the Turtle sound like Tom Hanks? Maybe i'm just tone deaf.. |

| Danny Glover sounds so much like comedian Lavell Crawford. And for Jeremy Irons I couldn't get Robert Morely's narration of "The Dot and The Line" out of my head. |

| It would've been funny if Amy Poehler was reading "Polar Bear, Polar Bear." |

| I think the only people who recognize Keillor are NPR listeners. |

| Is it me or does Julia Roberts have, by far, the most bland reading voice out of everyone listed here? |
 | captjojo: | Jan 22nd, 2011 at 00:06 GMT | | 3 points |
| glad to see rickman so recognizable. |
 | cryptopian: | Jan 22nd, 2011 at 01:00 GMT | | 2 points |
| I always think during these quizzes that once you lose a face from the voice, you can't recognise the voice. I'm quite a fan of Monty Python and I missed John Cleese and almost Michael Palin (for some reason I decided Sarah Palin would be funny to try) |
 | dxdtdemon: | Jan 22nd, 2011 at 02:48 GMT | | 2 points |
| Anyone else think that Danny Glover sounded a lot like Malcolm-Jamal Warner? |
 | shanekelby: | Jan 22nd, 2011 at 04:15 GMT | | 4 points |

| Maybe I'm just an idiot who is REALLY bad with celebrities, but was I the only person who thought Julia Roberts was Janeane Garofalo? |
 | Hejman: | Jan 22nd, 2011 at 20:53 GMT | | 1 point |
| @cryptopian- I make a lot of these quizzes because I'm pretty good at identifying voices (I love doing it during animated movies) but my wife never takes these quizzes of mine because, like you, she's better with faces than voices. I think it just depends on the person. |

| I can't believe how bad I did. Some of these are so obvious! I didn't even get Christopher Walken! |
 | Chillingworth: | Jan 23rd, 2011 at 15:35 GMT | | 5 points |
| It's shocking to me that Christopher Walken isn't at 100% correct. One of the most distinct voices ever, and it makes me smile. Like listening to an old friend. |
 | jefe_: | Jan 24th, 2011 at 03:42 GMT | | 3 points |
| I got Alan Rickman because I thought Tim Curry was him. Oops. Was hoping for Billy Mays anyway. |
 | Josh: | Jan 24th, 2011 at 14:38 GMT | | 3 points |
| Totally worth listening to all of this and getting most of it wrong (can't believe I didn't get Johnny Cash) just to get to Walken at the end. |

| For those that don't know Jeremy Irons - he's the voice of Scar in the Lion King, as well as the old narrator of Spaceship Earth in Epcot at Disney World. |

| There were like 5 of these that I thought were Tom Hanks |
