Now we just need sproutcm to make a word ladder out of this list!
Aug 14th, 2012 at 06:27 GMT
@LTH Haha, well, I already put 5 of them into a ladder :)
Aug 14th, 2012 at 20:05 GMT
I think the title of this quiz shows what some politicians actually know.

Interesting parallel in the images for Cain and Byrd with the finger up. Two very, um, unalike people.

one good reason for romney to choose ryan as vp: Romney & Ryan has a nice ring to it.
Aug 19th, 2012 at 05:52 GMT
Nice reference Kobie; great commercial.

Not only are we going to Nw Hampshire, sproutcm, we're going to South Carolina and Oklahoma and Arizona and North Dakota and New Mexico, and we're going to California and Texas and New York. And we're going to South Dakota and Oregon and Washington and Michigan, and then we're going to Washington DC, to take back Sporcle! BBWWWWHHHAAAAAAAAAA!!!

I suppose the reason Cheney can't be on this is because the answer would work for too many of the others

Sporcle is joining the boycott of Todd Akin. Good on Sporcle!

4-letter word for a candidate with widow's peak... damn, "Douche" is too long
Nov 5th, 2012 at 19:11 GMT
But "HERO" fits perfectly!

What will they show after tomorrow? Christmas commercials, non-stop!

Would never have gotten Haig without noticing the name of the quiz in the URL.
Nov 5th, 2012 at 19:53 GMT
Only one of these politicians had an awesome dance party though.
Nov 5th, 2012 at 20:30 GMT
Haig in 88!

I refuse to recognize a quiz without Dick Army!
Nov 5th, 2012 at 20:53 GMT
What, no Todd "Women's Bodies Have A Way Of Shutting That Whole Thing Down" Akin?
Nov 5th, 2012 at 20:55 GMT
Unfortunately, baseball_nut, you'll have to wait for the five-letter quiz for Mr. Armey.
Nov 5th, 2012 at 21:14 GMT
Based on the photos, I wouldn't buy a used car from any of these people.
Nov 5th, 2012 at 21:29 GMT
This quiz is SOOOO biased! Look! All the pictures of the democrats/republicans (circle one) look good and the pictures of the democrats/republicans (circle one) look creepy!!
Nov 5th, 2012 at 21:50 GMT
Some of these pics do look creepy. I can be mad at myself for not recognizing the man who hopes to be Vice President elect after tomorrow. There were a few others I should have gotten too.
Nov 5th, 2012 at 22:01 GMT
Could it have been any other picture of Howard Dean? It could not.
Nov 5th, 2012 at 22:02 GMT
Another Aaron Burr reference? I need some more milk.
Nov 5th, 2012 at 22:09 GMT
That picture of Howard Dean captures the single greatest moment of anything that has happened. Ever.
Nov 5th, 2012 at 22:16 GMT
@InsertCleverName, I refuse to be tied down by such silly things as the facts!
Nov 6th, 2012 at 00:24 GMT
Did anyone else think Andrew Card was Leslie Nielsen?
Nov 6th, 2012 at 00:56 GMT
Interesting thing about that Howard Dean moment-I knew someone in his campaign & she told me that the entire crowd at that event went crazy when he did it. It was only later that it became a point of ridicule & helped to end his candidacy.
Nov 6th, 2012 at 01:32 GMT
I got Howard Dean... YYYYEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!
Nov 6th, 2012 at 02:01 GMT
I didn't need the clue, but Pete noticed your very clever URL.
Nov 6th, 2012 at 04:02 GMT
Why is Paul Ryan so creepy looking?
Nov 6th, 2012 at 05:56 GMT
Wow--Taft *really* looks like Kathy Bates.
Nov 6th, 2012 at 08:31 GMT
I'm personally going to be checking all of their birth certificates, to see if they were truly born in the US.
Nov 6th, 2012 at 09:07 GMT
Whenever people talk about the liberal bias in the mainstream media I like to point out that they ran that Dean clip 633 times
Nov 6th, 2012 at 18:15 GMT
Craig that was in the middle of a democratic primary battle... all media clips ran then were pro-one-of-the-liberals and anti-one-of-the-liberals. Proves nothing.
Nov 6th, 2012 at 23:05 GMT
1) I got all the easy ones, 2) I missed the Senator from my own state (I am new there), 3) like another poster above realized I didn't know what Paul Ryan looked like.
Nov 7th, 2012 at 03:29 GMT
Oh, that's James K. Polk, NOT the Wizard of Oz.
Nov 7th, 2012 at 14:36 GMT
No Karl Rove?
Nov 7th, 2012 at 17:25 GMT
@baseball_nut: Ha...I have to admit, though, that I only know how to spell his name because I've spent well over a decade making the most juvenile jokes imaginable about it.
