| The one l'ed lama, he is a priest; the two ll'ed lama, he is a beast. And yes, you really do need to spell the middle eastern leader's name correctly. At least I hope I have. |

| I know Denzel Washington played him in the movie, but does anyone else think Malcolm X sounds exactly like Morgan Freeman? |
 | Hejman: | Feb 18th, 2010 at 18:37 GMT | | 4 points |
| Thanks Soar21- it's the last one too, the only clips left are too obscure to use. Fidelio- I think the quality varies sometimes by nature of browser and internet connection speed. The word you're missing is "software" which is, unfortunately, kind of an important word in that quote. |

| Thanks, elise222- click on my user name and then on "contributed games" and you'll find the first two quizzes in this series. |

| I was DE-lighted to hear Theodore Roosevelt's voice. |
 | pbysr: | Feb 19th, 2010 at 03:55 GMT | | 4 points |
| Technically, she was Princess Elizabeth in October 1940 when she said those words which likely inspired Edward R. Murrow's famous sign-off phrase. |
 | Hejman: | Feb 19th, 2010 at 04:02 GMT | | 1 point |
| That's right pbysr, which is why Princess Elizabeth is also an accepted answer. In fact, her sister is also an accepted answer since you hear her voice briefly as well. |

| I love these quizzes. :D The Oppenheimer quote in particular is amazing, but all the ones from more than thirty or so years ago are just remarkable. History as we heard it, just like the title says. |
 | ThurinEthir: | Feb 19th, 2010 at 05:15 GMT | | 2 points |
| Hm, for some reason, I immediately thought of Bilbo when I heard the Tolkien quote. Strange. Good quiz. |
 | Hejman: | Feb 19th, 2010 at 11:53 GMT | | 1 point |
| My two favorites in this quiz are Oppenheimer and Tolkien, RebeccaAMax and ThurinEthir. The Oppenheimer quote I pulled from a video clip of that interview and you can see how incredibly pained he looks. The clip is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UHsEMXY5d8 and the interview begins about halfway through it. |

| I've never been more proud in my life than when I spelled Ahmadinejad right on the first try. |
 | betraisefold: | Feb 20th, 2010 at 07:57 GMT | | 2 points |
| I definitely found it harder than the first two parts but that did nothing to detract from the enjoyment - great job again. I am sad to hear that this will be the last of these though. |
 | Hejman: | Feb 20th, 2010 at 21:37 GMT | | 3 points |
| It's possible that I could do one more of these quizzes, but in order to do that I would reuse some famous people who are rightfully known for more than one quote and would require suggestions of famous people who lived during the era of recorded sound and who I neglected to include in the first three quizzes. If you'd like to see a fourth- let me know who you think should be included. |
 | megarockman: | Feb 21st, 2010 at 05:14 GMT | | 1 point |
| Would sports quotes be out of the question? |
 | RebeccaAMax: | Feb 21st, 2010 at 06:18 GMT | | 3 points |
| @Hejman: I would love to see a fourth (etc.), even with people re-used. Or there are other events, like quiz 2. |
 | shani3: | Feb 23rd, 2010 at 15:47 GMT | | 3 points |
| I totally got lucky with Teddy Roosevelt: I typed "Roosevelt" thinking it was Franklin. And I got Pope Benedict because he has one of the gentlest speaking voices I've ever heard. |
 | 3kr: | Feb 24th, 2010 at 15:37 GMT | | 7 points |
| I thought Michael Jackson was a woman, but eventually puzzled it out. Benedict had me totally stumped though. |
 | davebesag: | Mar 1st, 2010 at 21:42 GMT | | 3 points |
| I was trying British politicians for Teddy Roosevelt! Certainly sounded Lancashire in that clip. |

| I think Michael Jackson and Arnold Schwarzenegger's inclusions cheapen the quality of the quiz. |

| Very cool -- but why does typing "the" bring up Jean Paul II and George Bush? |
 | Hejman: | Mar 28th, 2010 at 01:44 GMT | | 1 point |
| MghtyRoach- wow! This quiz has been up since 2/17 and that was the first time anyone had noted that. My first thought was, "well, that can't be right" and then I went and tried it and saw you were absolutely right. I went into the edit screen and found that the only thing that was the same about those two answers was that I put and extra slash ("/") at the end. When I removed the slash it didn't happen anymore. I have no idea why an extra slash would be interpreted by the game as being the word "the", but that appears to have been the cause. Weird. |

| Somebody already kind of mentioned it, but is that actually Malcolm X speaking? Cause it sounds exactly like Denzel. |

| haha, arnold would probably be guessed more if people could spell his last name. Took me at least a minute to get it right. :p |
