| first off, good quiz. second, this is just more illustration of why the prequels were ill-conceived, and bad. not that those are horrible designs (though i've always considered most of the prequel ship designs uninspired - i DO however like the trade federation ship, #15), but they were forced to make ships that were 'early versions' of later ships from the OT. it's just lame and no fun, it was stupid sitting in the theater watching scenes and dogfights where we're meant to think, "hey woah, that looks like it could eventually evolve into a star destroyer!" i'm not even sure the principle at play in that decision is a sound one; it just strikes me now as imaginatively lazy. |
