	@bownsntoys Actually it gets sadder most evidence points atlest 1,000 animals have gone extinct because of human efforts this is just a small group compared to most.

	@Extinctanimals22- Very true. I didn't touch insects, fish, reptiles, amphibians, etc. This is just a small sampling of recent or well-known extinctions.

	Technically the Ivory-billed woodpecker isn't extinct yet. Even though it's highly unlikely there are any left, the IUCN still has it listed as Critically endangered. I agree, depressing quiz. I think a lot of endangered species might be relieved if a certain species ended up on this quiz.

	@redsxfenway- I've been waiting for someone to call me out on the Ivory-billed! I included because it is, in the U.S., probably the most publicized recent 'likely' extinction.

	Given how generous you're being elsewhere (e.g., accepting just plain "wolf" for two boxes), I was surprised that no variation of "sabertooth" or "sabertooth tiger" or even "sabertooth cat" worked for the relevant box.

	@mneh- Totally my oversight there. I had typed it in as "sabre" and had neglected to put the alternative spelling in. It's added now. Thanks for pointing it out!

	Yes, a sad quiz - especially seeing photographs, which remind us just how current extinctions are.
