	I've taken the liberty of using a few "First Avenue"s along the way. In some of these cities everything from 10th Street down is renamed after a person (often U.S. Presidents) and so I had to do some figuring from the map to guess which one used to be First Street. If you think I got it wrong, let me know.

	@Hejman: I'll grant you the need for taking liberties. In the book Milwaukee Streets: The Stories Behind Their Names researcher Carl Baehr documents that Plankinton Avenue had previously been West Water Street, not First Street. Milwaukee street names don't always make sense. For example, North Avenue is south of Center Street… and College Avenue stood for nearly 90 years before there was ever a college on it.

	@BombaySapphire- Can we agree, however, that counting down the numbers, Plankinton would be First Street, if there was one in Milwaukee? It may never have been called that, but it appears that it would be the one (to be the '1').

	Well, First Street did (and still does) exist in the Walkers Point section of the city, but as far as I'm able to discern, in the Kilbourntown area that we're dealing with, it was originally West Water Street because of its proximity to the river. I see your point, though. It would be logical to count down 4th St, 3rd St, 2nd Street…

	Great idea for a quiz! City naming quirks are always fun. Just as a tiny point of contention, Beverly only replaces 1st for a mile or so, and then runs parallel to it on one side/turns into it on the other, and there's no intersection of Beverly and Alameda (it's 1st and Alameda at that point).

	It should maybe say something like "the name of the street taking the place of First Street" rather than the street being "renamed" from First Street. In a good number of these places there may never have been a First Street.

	Great idea, but I think it needs to be a forced march. My wrong guesses for many of these ended up being right somewhere else!
