The modified DeLorean backs out of the driveway. Doc Brown is at the wheel, dressed in bizarre future garb.
EXT. A SENTRY TOWER
Standing the post is the silhouette of A MARINE. He's holding a rifle and staring straight out. A drum cadence has been building slightly.
EXT. STREET - DAY
A UPS Man with a pot belly is walking down the street, whistling and carelessly tossing a package in the air. We hear the sound of broken glass in the box.

WE ARE FLOATING UP A STEEP SCRUBBY SLOPE
We hear male voices singing 'Tumbling Tumbleweeds' and a deep, affable, Western-accented voice--Sam Elliot's, perhaps: VOICE-OVER
EXT. HADES - DUSK
We are MOVING TOWARD the Tyrell Corporation across a vast plain of industrialization, menacing shapes on the horizon, stacks belching flames.
EXT. HOT TRAXX NIGHTCLUB - NIGHT
CAMERA holds on this PACKED disco on Van Nuys Blvd. TITLE CARD: 'San Fernando Valley, 1977' A CADILLAC SEVILLE pulls up to the valet area.
A globe turns into a flat map of Europe. Superimposed over this map are scenes of refugees fleeing and converging on one point on the tip of Africa.
EXT. KIDNET STUDIO -C - EVENING
A man in a puffy foam-rubber rhinoceros costume dancing under the bright friendly lights of a television studio.
FADE IN MONTAGE OF PHOTOS
(V.O.) RAY My father’s name was John Kinsella. A faded, sepia shot of a dirty little kid on a farm.
INT. CHICAGO THEATER:
10/15/58 The Radio and TV News Dir. Annual Meeting. We're in the wings of the theater. Standing there is Edward R. Murrow. He looks ill at ease.
INT. DARK ROOM - NIGHT TIME
An old man lights a gas oven with a match, he is preparing food. He notices a light on in the large house opposite, he stops what he's doing.
FADE IN: INT. 'THE DRAGON' NIGHTCLUB - NIGHT
A GONG SOUNDS and the glittering doors of an art Deco pagoda slide open to reveal a mammoth silver stairway and dancing girls.
EXT. RIVER ANDUIN - DAY
ANGLE ON: SMEAGOL and his cousin, DEAGOL, sit in a SMALL CORACLE, their FISHING LINES draped over the side... SUNSHINE glinting off the surface.
INT. HARVEY'S KITCHEN - NIGHT - 1978
Close on a finger pressing a 'record' button. (V.O.) This is to be played only in the event of my death by assassination...
EXTERIOR - CASTLE WALLS - DAY
Mist. We hear hoofbeats. Then out of the mist comes KING ARTHUR followed by a SERVANT who is banging two half coconuts together.
Ext. SUBURBAN CAR DEALERSHIP
A 1977 sedan with serious damage pulls up. CLARK W. GRISWOLD and his 12 year-old son RUSTY get out.
INT. REPUBLIC CRUISER - COCKPIT
In the cockpit of the cruiser, the CAPTAIN and PILOT maneuver closer to one of the battleships. QUI-GON : (off screen voice) Captain.
CLOSE-UP of little old lady. She blows a kiss and waves GOOD-BYE. CUT TO CLOSE-UP OF MAX BIALYSTOCK. He waves back.
TRAIN WHEELS grinding against track.

FADE IN: INT. RESTAURANT - MORNING
LOUISE is a waitress in a coffee shop. She is in her early-thirties, but too old to be doing this. She is pretty and meticulously groomed.
EXT. PLANET’S SURFACE - CONTINUOUS
A range of mountains takes form in the haze. Moving closer. The mountains are piles of TRASH. The entire surface is nothing but waste.
