nice quiz. ones off the top of my head...spike lee's malcolm x, cry freedom (kind of an assassination, conspiracy wise), Selena, Young Guns 2, Bonnie and Clyde, Public Enemies, (not really sure if being killed while attemped arrest counts as assassination but close enough), Gandhi, Assassination of Jesse James.....(unfortunately the answers are in the titles in a lot of these flicks.

@hahobigshot- Gandhi, Malcolm X and People vs. Larry Flynt are "hidden bonuses" on the quiz already. They can't be answers because the entire name of the person is the title of the film. I'll add Selena and Jesse James in that category. Bonnie & Clyde and Dillinger (Public Enemies) are, as you point out, shot by law enforcement, which is not an assassination. Billy the Kid escapes hanging in Young Guns II. Thanks for the great suggestions!

Don't know that Selena counts as an assassination either. Yes she was murdered, but it was by the head of her fan club after being confronted about financial irregularities. It wasn't done to make a statement or to stop a movement or political figure.

Also, you include either Romero or Salvador, both of which depict the assassination of Archbishop Oscar Romero. Or the Richard Burton movie The Assassination of Trotsky (not surprisingly about Leon Trotsky).

Shaka Zulu isn't really a movie, but good quiz. I was so mad at you for not accepting "Cleopatra VII" until I realized that...well yeah I feel dumb now

For Nicholas and Alexandra (not Alexandria), why is the answer Nicholas II and Anastasia? Why not accept Nicholas II and Alexandra? Or, for that matter, why not Grigori Rasputin, who is murdered in that film as well.
