	I'm not sure Jesus should be considered a religious leader. To Christians, He is God. I think He can't be considered a leader of Christianity since Christianity wasn't established until after His death. He can't be considered a Jewish leader, he was more of a radical. I think including Jesus would be a bit like including Zeus.

	I feared as soon as I posted that comment that would be think I was meaning to be blasphemous- far from the truth. I think all twelve apostles would agree that out of that list, Jesus is the only who WAS and IS God- to give him the title of "Religious Leader" and put in the same category as everyone else on this quiz is to diminish that. Perhaps the Pope would be a more appropriate choice.

	@singin185 - so you're disputing Jesus as a religious leader but you're fine with Sabbatai Zevi (yes I looked him up and he actually claimed to be the messiah too). I would have thought that claiming to be the messiah and having people follow you is one definition of a religious leader. Claiming you're the messiah and having no one follow you is a definition of insanity. It's a thin line.

	@P00: I didn't know who he until I looked him up just now. My point of view is probably a bit skewed because I am a Christian, but Jesus just stuck out from all the others (especially the overwhelming number of Christian leaders) as more than simply a "religious leader". To me He is God himself. I suppose to a non-Christian he is considered simply a religious leader, much like I would consider Sabbatai Zevi a religious leader (but I don't believe he's the Messiah). Maybe I'm just splitting hairs.

	@singin185 - Precisely. To you Jesus is the Messiah but from an impartial standpoint he is a religious leader. Just found it odd that anyone would pick Jesus out rather than Gandhi who as far as I know didn't found a religion or add to one - his ideas were philosophical and political. Jesus was a rabbi and he preached a religious message whether he was divine or not.
