I didn't want to double up on the same show but felt badly for leaving out Pinky and Beaker. Still, they got the last word. (Or meep, or narf, as it may be...)

I never realized how much The Professor from Gilligan's Island looks like a younger Walter Bishop.

Noah Bennet has only one 't' in it. That's the way imdb, wikipedia, and tv.com have it. Also, you might accept Horned Rimmed Glasses for him as that's how a lot Heroes fans know him as.
Dec 15th, 2011 at 03:45 GMT
The quiz now SHOWS "Noah Bennet" but it still doesn't ACCEPT "Noah Bennet".
Dec 15th, 2011 at 15:26 GMT
Thanks for catching that, tozk- fixed now.

"Mr. Wizard's World", with an "L"...man that brings back some fond childhood memories. I loved the episode where they blew up hydrogen-filled balloons. Awesome quiz!

You should accept many different combinations of "Professor Hubert J Farnsworth". I tried maybe 4 before finally trying just Hubert Farnsworth.

You're only taking the full name on Sheldon Cooper? Surely the character's best known as just "Sheldon"

Is Noah Bennet really a scientist? His work for the company seems to be more as an agent than a scientist.
Jul 16th, 2012 at 04:54 GMT
You publish this quiz with that icon and don't accept "Heisenberg"?!
Jul 16th, 2012 at 05:05 GMT
Yes, please accept HRG as an alternative for Noah Bennet. And the scientist on the Hulk TV series was David Banner (not Bruce like in the comics and most other media).

Anyone else disappointed by complete lack of Dr Tobias Fünke?? The man is the first ever analrapist. COME ON!!
Jul 16th, 2012 at 05:16 GMT
HELLO? WHAT ABOUT PROFESSOR FARNSW--oh there he is. Never mind.
Jul 16th, 2012 at 05:41 GMT
Mr. Wizard, back in the day I remember watching him and getting excited to try my own experiments and being so disappointed when I realized I apparently sucked at science experiments.

Billions and billions don't recognize Carl Sagan. Sad.
Jul 16th, 2012 at 08:18 GMT
Ew, is that early 2000's Dexter? Those episodes don't exist.
Jul 16th, 2012 at 10:55 GMT
Good news everyone! Actually, not really, I didn't do so hot on this quiz...
Jul 16th, 2012 at 11:57 GMT
The Doctor is not, by definition, a scientist. He is a time and space travelling alien adventurer and hero.
Jul 16th, 2012 at 12:22 GMT
What? No Professor Frink from the Simpsons? For crying out glavin!
Jul 16th, 2012 at 12:28 GMT
Mr. Wizard is a little old for a lot of folks, but he was incredibly entertaining and paved the way for Bill Nye and others. Don Herbert made science fun and interesting when NOBODY on TV was making science fun and interesting. Glad to see he made the cut!
Jul 16th, 2012 at 12:41 GMT
A couple non-scientists, but no one from Eureka?
Jul 16th, 2012 at 12:54 GMT
"DOCTOR Who", never ever "Dr. Who".
Jul 16th, 2012 at 13:21 GMT
You put a huge smile on my face this morning when I typed in "Hinkley" and saw that it was accepted. Now that's how to start a Monday -- Thanks @hejman.

Look! Sheldon has cloned Leonard Nimoy from DNA from a napkin! And made him look like he did in the late '60's!
Jul 16th, 2012 at 14:44 GMT
I would have like to have seen Dr. Daniel Faraday!
Jul 16th, 2012 at 15:51 GMT
Good quiz. Can't help but miss Nova and Neil deGrasse Tyson. :)

I instinctively typed "Eleven" when I saw Matt Smith, and then realized I had to go a little more layman
Jul 16th, 2012 at 19:52 GMT
Please accept The Muppet Show as an answer. The Muppets is the name of a film, not a tv show.

BILL NYE = CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
Jul 16th, 2012 at 21:08 GMT
no jimmy neutron? and there are many facets and fields when it comes to "science," so i would have nominated ross geller, since he was a paleontolgist, and paleontology is considered a science
Jul 16th, 2012 at 21:10 GMT
and since we have gil grissom , there should also be dr quincy, as well as sid from csi ny
Jul 18th, 2012 at 17:13 GMT
i am very sad to see Mr Wizard in last place.
Jul 18th, 2012 at 21:03 GMT
Noah isn't a scientist. He's an agent. The scientist was more Mohinder in that series.
Jul 30th, 2012 at 02:57 GMT
Scanning the comments for what I was going to say before commenting. Find it on the very last one. Noah =/= scientist. Mohinder Suresh == scientist. Thanks, sailorjupiter2.

Aug 6th, 2012 at 22:45 GMT
Noah Bennet isn't a scientist; he's a bag-and-tag man. Mohinder Suresh is the scientist on that show.
