I have a hard time believing that The Big Bang Theory is a sitcom
May 16th, 2012 at 23:34 GMT
@jzambrello It's a sporcle TV quiz... of course the big bang theory will be in it. You could pretty much type it in any time you start one of these quizzes and you'll score.

Really well done, accepting all the short answers that the fans call each show
May 17th, 2012 at 20:21 GMT
Sorry for being too much of a stickler, but how are you qualifying "00's sitcoms"... A number of these started in the 90s, and some have existed primarily in the 10s.
May 18th, 2012 at 18:36 GMT
@dtmich- If it aired between 2000 and 2009 then it was on the 00s and qualifies. Claiming that it doesn't fit in the '00s because it began in 1998 or 1999 is sort of like claiming that Richard Nixon wasn't a president in the 1970s because he took office in 1969. I included shows that have more years in the '10s and than the '00s because I don't intend on making a 2010s version and didn't want to leave those shows out entirely.

some of these shows didn't debut in the 00s as it says in the directions.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 04:16 GMT
Family Guy (1999), Futurama (1999), That '70s Show (1998), and Becker (1998) all fail the description of this quiz because they didn't debut in the 2000s.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 04:24 GMT
That Big Bang Theory picture was rather misleading.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 04:32 GMT
I don't consider According to Jim a television show. I consider it poo poo.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 04:33 GMT
Fun quiz, but I practically needed to get a magnifying glass out to see the pictures. Also, could you just accept "Always Sunny" for its always sunny in Philadelphia?
Jul 6th, 2012 at 04:35 GMT
The instructions say only that the shows aired in the 2000s, and nothing about when they debuted. Family Guy aired one season in the 1990s and has aired throughout the 2000s. Futurama similarly had one season in the 90s and has been on (off and on) throughout the 2000s. Becker aired two seasons in the 1990s and five in the 2000s.

Terrible picture for The Big Bang Theory
Jul 6th, 2012 at 04:52 GMT
Some of these shows were taken off the air way too early.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 04:58 GMT
@Hejman The directions were clearly when the shows debuted. They have since been changed.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 05:20 GMT
I thought Jim Parsons was Frankie Muniz.. Kept thinking "he did something other than Malcolm in the Middle?"
Jul 6th, 2012 at 05:36 GMT
some of these pictures are uncomfortably awkward but hilarious anyway!
Jul 6th, 2012 at 06:23 GMT
Becker? Aha! Ted Danson of course! To think I spent the last few minutes trying to figure out which sitcom it was that starred Leatherface! (Or coulda been Troy McClure playing a muppet again)
Jul 6th, 2012 at 06:31 GMT
I like that the pictures are a little small and unfamiliar, it makes it somewhat challenging.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 07:32 GMT
Note to self: actually look closely at the pictures because the people from the Big Bang Theory could randomly be in suits and looking really dapper.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 07:51 GMT
Zapp Branigan, Leela, Fry, Bender, and Nibbler? WHY NOT ZOIDBERG?
Jul 6th, 2012 at 08:30 GMT
Someone should make a quiz for worst shows of the '00s. If According to Jim is on the list, it shouldn't take long to verify.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 09:39 GMT
haha i finished and before i hit give up was planning to comment "what about the big bang theory?" d'oh
Jul 6th, 2012 at 11:52 GMT
Nice to see two agents of S.H.I.E.L.D on this quiz.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 12:01 GMT
Didn't recognize Ted Danson and tricky pic of BBT
Jul 6th, 2012 at 12:15 GMT
Anybody else imagine what might of been if brothers had taken parts? 'Emilo Estevez in Two and a half men!' 'Steven Baldwin in 30 rock!' and of course, how mad would 'a show called The world according to John' have been back in the day?
Jul 6th, 2012 at 12:33 GMT
Kaley Cuoco twice. I approve.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 13:33 GMT
@truenorth agreed. Bbt picture was hard to guess, but cool. Sporcle needs more Everybody Hates Chris!
Jul 6th, 2012 at 14:20 GMT
"8 Rules"..."Eight Rules"..."Eight Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter"..."Ten Rules"...ARGH - Damn you "Simple"!!!
Jul 6th, 2012 at 14:58 GMT
George Lopez. That's who that was. I thought it was a really tan Rosie O'Donnell. Completely forgot George Lopez had a sitcom. Larger pictures would have helped there.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 14:59 GMT
I could've gotten "Rules of Engagement," but all I kept thinking was "They let David Spade into another sitcom in this decade?"
Jul 6th, 2012 at 16:04 GMT
Turns out that not Everyone hates Chris. Everybody does though. Grrrr
Jul 6th, 2012 at 16:41 GMT
31.7% of Sporcle needs to watch Parks and Rec right now.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 16:57 GMT
Unless the title was recently changed, it says "aired primarily in the 2000s," not the debut. So, the title of the quiz (which is AWESOME) is correct.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 17:09 GMT
My last name is Becker, and I missed it.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 17:54 GMT
@piehole4ever, calling "According to Jim" poo poo is an insult to poo poo.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 18:36 GMT
left a couple of the longer ones that I knew until the end, and then had a typo on RofE (one of my favorites).... ARGH!
Jul 6th, 2012 at 18:44 GMT
Arrested Development, The Office, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Community, and Everybody Hates Chris all in the same quiz? Well done.
Jul 6th, 2012 at 19:49 GMT
Didn't community only air a single season in the 2000s?
Jul 6th, 2012 at 19:49 GMT
Many thanks to the Admins for swapping in a more readily recognizable Big Bang Theory picture!
Jul 6th, 2012 at 22:12 GMT
please accept 2 and a half men
