I've tried to think of as many alternate answers as possible. If you think of something you think should be accepted, but isn't, please let me know.

Tried 'cop' for police. Not a big problem, awesome quiz as usual. 5 globes.

@ambition- Sorry about that. Sprout suggested that I add that too and I just forgot. I've always thought that 'cop' was borderline derogatory toward law enforcement and have never liked the word, which is probably why I forgot it in the first place. It's added now. Thanks for the kind words about the quiz!

Nice quiz Hejman but since it's a matter of "respect" with the cop thing, shouldn't the term be 'police officer' they do allow women to join the club now ;)

"American footballer" would be helpful for us Brits (our footballers don't wear armour - but then they do end up rolling around on the floor...)

@hejman: Since you're big on respect (I am too), shouldn't the first one be firefighter instead of fireman? There are women in that profession too. Yes, I know it accepts firefighter, but going by previous comments you changed policeman to police officer so I would think you'd want to change fireman too.

@FrogJesus- Indeed, 'drug cheat' gets you banned for life from the quiz and all your results vacated.

I never new that witch was an occupation. I wonder how a parent would respond if their child said, "Daddy, when I grow up I want to be a witch!"

Never in my life would have guessed "beefeater" or "matador", although I know what they are and feel kind of dumb now that I've seen the answers. Anyway, neat quiz - I'd love to see another one of these!

I'd like to suggest "goaltender" for goalie and "right jolly old elf" for Santa Claus, although I freely admit that I typed the latter only in order to test how wide a range of possibilities you had anticipated.
(Also, thanks for accepting "yeoman.")

Oh, and (sort of) in the spirit of some of the gender-inclusive suggestions above, perhaps "aviatrix" should be an allowable alternative for "aviator."

Great suggestions, Q_Pheevr. I'm partial to "right jolly old elf" myself. As for the flight gear, I actually had Amelia Earhart in mind, so I'm a bit ashamed that I didn't think to include aviatrix.

Interesting quiz, to be sure. But how about accepting "baker" for chef, "politician" or "entertainer" for beefeater, and "rancher" for cowboy? Oh, and I didn't know being either a witch or a mouseketeer was a job.

Being a mouseketeer is a job; I didn't know being a "Mickey" (which I typed to get that one right) is a job.

Accept 'American football' for the American football helmet, seeing as how 'football' is accepted.
