	Rachel Jackson never served as First Lady. She died before the inauguration took place. Her niece, Emily stepped in to serve as White House hostess. Later, President Jackson's daughter-in-law, Sarah assumed the role as W.H. hostess.

	I guess that's why I never heard of Rachel Jackson. I didn't know Mrs. Roosevelt used her middle name.I was surprised that I remembered Washington and Johnson, especially as Mrs. Johnson wasn't allowed to use her own name since it didn't begin with L.B.

	Where's the bonus for Edith Bunker?? Great quiz. Thanks for allowing Lady Bird to be entered. Guessed on Eleanor Roosevelt. Rachel Jackson is listed in the National First Ladies Library. Can't believe I missed her in the quiz. I read the wonderfully written biography of Jackson by John Meacham and vividly remember how Jackson defended any slur against her character.

	Stunned that I did so well; I guess reading a few biograhpical works pays off sometimes. Can't wait till Martha W and Mrs. TR come up in conversation at the next cocktail party. For some reason I was thinking Nancy Wyman Reagan... just checked and found out where that mistake came from. Oops.

	Didn't Ford marry Lesley Anne Warren? Or was it Lesley Anne Down? And I knoew MW's middle name wasn't Vandella but I guessed it anyway.
