| Good quiz, but the answer bar says "Countries" below it instead of "States". |
 | msonich: | Sep 11th, 2012 at 16:15 GMT | | -4 points |
| Oddly enough, 2 minutes may be too long. Many can enter in the full names of each state in 2 minutes. This took me significantly under 1 minute. Might consider dropping this down to one minute if the distribution warrants it. |

| Agree with msonich. 1 minute is probably more than enough. |

| Don't agree - can't type fast enough. Need more time. |

| i found it hard to type them quick enough. if you're from the states it's a lot easier, i'd imagine |

| Only 10% of people are finishing, so I'd the current time is fine. |

| Good quiz bit now I will be humming that Perry Como song for the rest of the day! |

| I'm curious what the fewest possible number of answers is. |
 | Zak6009: | Jan 22nd, 2013 at 15:57 GMT | | -2 points |
| I'm actually in the process of making a quiz myself right now which should help determine the fewest number of answers... much like my other ones. ;) |

| This has the perfect amount of time. |

| Not sure if this is allowed... but figured I'd share it since it's relevant, just finished. Apparently the most possible states you can get at a time on here is only 4: http://www.sporcle.com/games/Zak6009/i_like_sequences |
 | Zak6009: | Jan 22nd, 2013 at 17:03 GMT | | 3 points |
| PS... @kathleenicus, pretty sure the fewest possible number of answers is 29. #toomuchtimeonmyhands #venndiagrams |
 | axgtd: | Jan 22nd, 2013 at 17:04 GMT | | 8 points |
I'm not sure if it's minimal, but one can manage in 29 tries :
aho ala ana and ari ask awa con enn ent eva gan hio ine ing lin lor mis mon new nia ota owa reg rgi sac sas tex uta. Maybe one can go down to 28, not less I guess. I'm sure someone will compute that for everybody ! |

| I got 40, and managed to skip the word "new" and all of the states with it in the name... |

| Must. Type. Faster.
Good quiz! |
 | timjim: | Jan 22nd, 2013 at 19:42 GMT | | 5 points |
| It's weird when you type in a random sequence to find out that it comes up twice. Ex. AWA fits for Hawaii and Delaware. |

| something must be wrong with me if I managed to get oklahoma (the least guessed answer) but not wisconsin :P |
 | Zak6009: | Jan 22nd, 2013 at 22:17 GMT | | 2 points |
| @axgtd it is 29, can't go lower. There are exactly 11 states that don't share any trigrams, and if you make Venn diagrams with the rest of them based on what they share, you can find that 29 is the absolute minimum. |
 | Zak6009: | Jan 22nd, 2013 at 22:19 GMT | | -2 points |
| Someone should make a quiz listing all those states... as well as a quiz listing all the ones with NO unique trigrams, like the Carolinas and Dakotas and Virginia and Kansas and probably some others. |
 | ABX2149: | Jan 23rd, 2013 at 00:16 GMT | | 3 points |
| tougher than I expected ! |
 | OJR1: | Feb 5th, 2013 at 17:39 GMT | | -2 points |
| It's not really easier than the normal one, because the time is rather hurrying. . . interesting, but sort of a gimmick at base. |
