Amazing how I can do the European countries quiz in around 2 minutes, but I had to fight for the last answer in the waning seconds on this quiz. Wild.

My initial strategy was to type the full name, then delete the name, with the exception of the last three letters. Of course, I discovered that you can get the answer just by typing in the full name. Since the point of this quiz is to guess the ending sequence of the names of each country in Europe, I suggest that the quiz should be revised so that the loophole of typing in the entire name cannot be exploited.

I had similar issues, Pogues. I have finally learned how to spell Bosnia and Herzegovina perfectly every time, but ask me the last 3 letters and I have no clue...

Sporclitis, thy name is Sweden. At least that was my mental hiccup. I'd like to hear what countries tripped up others.

I agree with GeoExpert, at first I was entering the last three letters, but then I decided to enter in the full country names and delete everything but the last 3 letters. But then the quiz accepted the full country name? I was surprised - I would have done better if I would have just entered all the countries, but I felt bad cheating so I stopped. I would suggest you only allow the last three letters to count.

Missed Latvia and Ukraine. Shameful. I considered putting Latvia, but I'd just got a whole load of '-nia' countries with Slovenia, fatally thought in terms of the 'v' not the 'n', and thought Latvia must therefore have already appeared. Ukraine I just plum forgot about...quite an 'achievement' considering its size. :/

@deej perhaps some people entered the full names of the countries. Personally I missed serbia, because for some reason I thought I had already done it

Stand by for the barrage of people complaining that Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland should be represented. (They shouldn't, of course)

Greece. Every time. First three, last three, whole name, no A, doesn't matter. Always forget Greece.

this is just name every European country. What might fix this is making the answers loook like this "NCE (France)", but accept "NCE" as the answer

I had 1 minute with 3 countries left. It took me 55 seconds to understand that they were San Marino, Vatican and Monaco...

Was struggling with last one. Eventually got it 'dom' for United Kingdom. I assumed i'd got it with 'and for United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland' maybe that's why it is so low at 85%

For some reason the abundance of '-nia's caused me to miss Bosnia Herzegovina since somehow I mentally lumped it with them.

Maybe the Europeans are so white because the "TAN" countries are in Asia.

You can also use non-Latin characters to sub for similar letters and that will break the "typing whole name" curse.

@kenfxj There shouldn't be any need to check – they're not 'countries' according to the Sporcle standard.

I missed Bosnia and Herzegovina because I kept thinking it ended in 'nia' instead of 'ina'. Also, there may be too much time on this quiz, most of us could probably do it in two minutes.
