| I see that the names are based on the official languages of the country in question. "Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" is a name accepted internationally but the country's official name is just "Republic of Macedonia" but this name is rejected by Greece, because there's a region in Greece by that name. Kinda like a "Chinese Taipei" situation. Even if so, when the name "Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" is written in Macedonian, it might not have the same number of letters. |
