The Sosa seasons are actually offensive to me, because he was a speedster and even bulked up in the roid years he was fully capable of swiping bases. He didn't do it because he no longer had to because he had the homerun thing. He'd only ever stolen bases because it was a way for him to get prestige, stand out, stick in the league. A selfish, selfish player.

Having now finished the quiz, Sosa looks even worse. It's him and literally ever other player on here is notoriously slow or fat.

Perhaps Sosa stopped running because he wasn't having all that much success and was aging. 65% in '97, 67% in '98 and then he starts running less, hardly suspicious, especially since his next couple of years were 47% an 64%. I agree he once was capable of swiping bases, but I don't think it is evident he still had that ability.

Surprising that Adam Dunn manages to steal at least one bag a year

He hasn't run much the last 3 years, but he has an impressive 84% (59/70) success rate for his career.

That means Adam Dunn has a higher success rate for stolen bases (84%) than Rickey Henderson (81%). lol

Adam Dunn actually has respectable speed for someone his size.

This is why I now go through and vote every single comment down in every game I play. My comment there about Adam Dunn was completely innocuous and completely accurate, and on-topic. I will get great joy in insulting you all and voting your games and comments down.
