Interesting. I didn't even know there were separate names for the versions of Norman French spoken on the individual Channel Islands.

I'd like to just mention that Doric and Lallans aren't alternative names for Scots, they're - along with Ullans - the main dialects of Scots. They're to Scots as Geordie or 'Murkin ( :P ) is to English. You've also missed Norn/Nynorn.

Agree with them being dialects for Scots but there's not really enough difference for them to be in seperately and Norn is a dead language. If I was to add that I'd need to add in Cumbric and Pict, etc.
