| If you are going to go down the route of defunct teams, then for league teams alone you are missing Cowlairs, Linthouse, Northern and Thistle; I imagine there are dozens of defunct junior sides! I don't think you should have Rutherglen Glencairn (yes, I know Rutherglen was briefly (1974-97) within Glasgow council borders, but it isn't now, and nobody thinks of it as Glasgow) or Clyde (a long, long time ago (until 1898) they played at Barrowfield, Glasgow, but then they moved to Rutherglen (until 1986), after which they groundshared within Glasgow (at Firhill) for 4 years and Hamilton for 3 years, before moving to Cumbernauld (which isn't in Glasgow)). Clyde are not a Glasgow team! |
