Gibraltar isn't a country. You've also missed out a lot of European countries such as Sweden, Macedonia et al.

Agreed. I don't have a problem with this not covering all European countries, but Gibraltar shouldn't be on the list.

Gibraltar, like Jersey (GBJ) and Guernsey (GBG) plus others do have specific license plates so to keep them which makes the quiz harder and/or better why not change the title of the quiz by omitting the word countries?

Edited to: a) reflect the fact that there are territories such as Gibraltar included; and b) add in more countries/territories for which I could find license plates.

How about FO - Faroe Islands, TR - Turkey, HV - Croatia, AZ - Azerbaijan, CV - Vatican (not sure, perhaps just a plate number prefix), NI - Northern Ireland (unrecognized)

Caramba: Added in Faroe Islands. Like I mentioned in the note, I didn't include Croatia because its code isn't on its current license plates. Turkey and Azerbaijan aren't really in Europe (although it's a bit difficult to say - I guess Georgia's closer to Europe, which is why I included it). The Vatican's CV doesn't correspond to either its ISO code nor its International Oval code, unlike all the other countries, so I'll leave it out.
