You're missing a lot of teams. Twins, Nuggets, Hornets... plus, it doesn't seem quite right to say that fans of a franchise that has been around for less than 10 years are "depressed".
Mar 12th, 2010 at 14:20 GMT
The Twins, Nuggets and Hornets have been added. And you're right about the second point, so I've removed all teams that were started in the 2000s.
Mar 12th, 2010 at 14:42 GMT
The twins won the World Series in 1991 or 1992 (too lazy to look it up). They would hardly fit in here.
Mar 12th, 2010 at 14:46 GMT
It was 1991. They belong in here but just barely.
Mar 12th, 2010 at 15:39 GMT
I don't think the 49ers should be on this list, since they at least won a Super Bowl during the Clinton years.
Mar 12th, 2010 at 15:50 GMT
nationals/expos?...pretty sure they haven't been anywhere close to the world series.
Mar 12th, 2010 at 16:14 GMT
@CoolerKing, you are right, the 49ers won the Super Bowl in 94, so they have been removed.
@stfrit: While I agree that the Nationals/Expos
hasn't been to the World Series in forever, the Nationals
is still fairly new. Therefore I didn't put them in. I'm not really sure that a lot of Nationals fans are former Expos fans. In fact, I'm fairy confident that Expos fans hate the Nationals. I don't see many Supersonic fans rooting for the Thunder (who by the way, aren't in this quiz for the same reason).

the HW Bush administration = bush sr, right? i.e. since january 1989? cause the reds won the 1990 world series, so they dont belong on here. And your teams moving inconsistencies makes it confusing too. Basically your quiz lacks specificity - pick criteria, state tyhem clearly at the top of the quiz, and stick with them.
Mar 12th, 2010 at 16:34 GMT
and also, what do you mean by "league?" for example, does an AL baseball team making it to the American "League" title game, and losing, count? Or do you just mean to the sport's championship? Make that more clear too.
Mar 12th, 2010 at 16:48 GMT
@s512711: The Thrashers were created in 2001.
@deej: The quiz is not that complicated. Bush Sr's presidency officially ended January 1992 when Clinton was sworn in. Obviously the Reds winning the title in 1990 came before that, not after. This quiz is basically about the teams who weren't expansion teams in the 2000s, or teams who have not moved in the 2000s and have a whole different fan base. Also, it is referring to Super Bowl/NBA Finals/Stanley Cup/World Series, not the conference games.

The Jaguars shouldn't be on here- they played their first season in 1995, after George H. W. Bush left office (in January 1993, not 1992, as the election was in November 1992)
Mar 12th, 2010 at 23:21 GMT
Chicago Cubs title free since the Theodore Roosevelt administration.
Mar 12th, 2010 at 23:46 GMT
The sharks, coyotes, predators, grizzlies all came to thier cities after George H.W. Bush
Mar 12th, 2010 at 23:58 GMT
Since the end or before the H.W. Bush administration?
Mar 13th, 2010 at 00:18 GMT
@bryan: Since the end. Basically since Jan 1993.
@Mister & jcdrillers: Yes, the Jaguars played their first season in 1995. Yes, the Jags were created in 1995, but that's still not in the 2000s. I think 15 years is a long time without a championship appearance. Then again, I'm a Redskins fan so my expectations are high. The same applies to the Sharks, Coyotes, Predators and Grizzlies as well. (Although the Predators are pretty close at 1999.)

Since the title says "since the H.W. Bush Administration," it seems inconsistent to me to include teams on here that weren't even created until after Bush 41 left office.

i love how all the minnesota teams are on here besides the wild...but who cares about hockey anyways?
