This quiz is not for songs popularized by the Internet (e.g. "Here It Goes Again" by OK Go or "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley). It is for songs that are either from some video/series ORIGINATING from the Internet or by an artist whose listeners are almost entirely within the Internet community. By the way, suggestions for a possible sequel are welcome (I intentionally left out a few songs)... no promises, though.

I spent the entire time wondering when I would hear "Show Me Your Genitals."

I don't want to criticize a quiz because I did poorly, but I spend my fair share of time online and only got two. (I would've gotten three but apparently I had to know the specific episode of Autotune the News.) I think there are probably some more popular selections out there you could have picked.

malonetd: I was really on the fence about accepting just "Auto-Tune the News"... but I figured it didn't have enough of a reputation as *the* ATtN song. That's the reason I worded the hint above the way I did. As for the possibility of more popular selections, I made the decision (perhaps the mistake?) of trying not to be TOO YouTube-heavy. While I certainly expected the most-guessed answers to be at the top of the list, I am shocked nobody recognizes Skullcrusher Mountain, considering Jonathan Coulton's status (musically) as king of the nerds. I guess I expected more of the JC/Machinae Supremacy/MC Frontalot crowd to show up here.

What? No "Ultimate Battle of Ultimate Destiny"?

I knew none of those...

rockgolf: Ultimate Showdown would be both repeating an artist (he's also behind Mysterious Ticking Noise) and an answer from another audio quiz (one of the general-knowledge ones)... Anyway, judging by the response here, I either need to remake this with a much heavier YouTube slant or abandon it altogether, because it's way too difficult as is.

Needs moar Trogdor.

I can honestly say that this is my candidate for the worst collection of music ever assembled in one place - Worse than Richard Cheese and G3(if you don't know him, listen to "life inna di ghetto" and you will know what I am talking about). Not that it was a bad idea for a quiz, nor was it bad execution, it's just that almost all of the songs are obscure to most people. And they are terrible. This explains why these songs stayed on the internet and never became popular like the ones you mentioned above.

I second more Trogdor. Even though it's in the song...just as a joke.
