| IMHO, everyone above Tejada *eventually* gets in. Schilling, Sosa, Helton, and Smoltz are question marks, but three of them will get points because they are well-liked and Sosa has overwhelming power numbers. After that I see Thome, Posada, and Halladay. Otherwise, I'm not so sure. I'd be alright with Williams and Delgado, but they're marginal. The rest... nope. Of course the idiotic voters will not vote for many of them on the first ballot... Bonds, Clemens, etc... but I can't fathom keeping either of those two out under any circumstances. With Pujols, Bonds is easily the greatest player I've ever seen and Clemens is the best pitcher since... well... Walter Johnson. |
