	You're not using the best source for this. Certain long names (including the United Arab Emirates) on the source page have been abbreviated solely for ease of reading, and not because Sporcle considers those abbreviations to be the complete names of the nations.

	Very nice idea for a quiz, but needs a bit of work. United States of America (21) is longer than United Arab Emirates (18). Central African Republic (22) is much longer than Czech Republic (13). And why do the hints for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (28) and Republic of the Congo (18) give lower numbers? I missed R because I was struggling to find a country with 8 letters.

	AlexRandom, I agree with everything you said, but to answer your question, Republic of the Congo gives 8 letters because almost all Sporcle quizzes accept "Rep Congo" as an answer. As far as Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, this quiz has it listed at 19 letters because of the answer that appears in the quiz. "St. Vincent-Grenadines" is 19 letters. Good concept for a quiz, it just needs to be fixed.

	Although some answers need to be changed, such as USA instead of UAE for longest U, and Central African Republic for C, it's a pretty good quiz. I'd allow the common abbreviations for the longer country names as well, so that'd be USA, Rep Congo, and Dem Rep Congo.

	@ Wred, I don't think your justification for Republic of Congo being 8 letters is valid - most Sporcle quizzes also accept DRC for Democratic Republic of the Congo, but we wouldn't say that it has 3 letters. I'd say we have to distinguish the official name (e.g. United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland), the common form of the name (e.g. United Kingdom) and the abbreviation (e.g. UK, DRC or Rep Congo). Sporcle typically accepts either common forms or (for some long countries) abbreviations, but for this quiz I think the "common form" is the one that should count. The Congos are special because to distinguish we use the official names as the common form.

	How come Yemen, Oman and Qatar have different percentage scores for correct answers when keying them once populates both the shortest and longest sides of the answer grid

	great quiz! but yeah, give it a bit more time. this isnt the sort of thing that should be rushed - i feel like only regurgitation of knowledge already possessed should be rushed (name all 21 beatles albums!) whereas, if something needs to be figured out, time is less important.
