Democratic Republic of Congo? Should be there whether you consider it to start with C or D. Also, Cyprus is spelt wrong.

@Etheridge2 I was always taught that Cyprus and Turkey were part of Asia.

I gotta thank everyone that's playing or played. The plays and rating look to be enough motivation to make a sequel. I need to get at least ONE of mine published, and this appears to be the first significant step towards that.

Really enjoying these speedy geography ones, on the L-Q one I must admit my mind went blank a lot! In this one though, I was basically typing continuously but only got 44, any chance for more time?

The teacher who taught you that Cyprus is in Asia is an Idiot! Cyprus belongs to Europe. There is an argument if Turkey belongs to Asia or Europe. The biggest part of Turkey is in Asia, in fact there is only a tiny tiny bit in Europe but this tiny part is Istanbul which is the capital - so some people consider Turkey Europe. You can certainly argue that, but Cyprus is in Europe!!! So please change it!

No way you can do this in 2 minutes unless you are cheating by reading them off a list that you have in front of you. Make it 3 minutes to at least give us a chance.

@BieneMaja, you my friend also seem to be quite the idiot. Istanbul is not the capital of Turkey. Ankara is. Also there is no argument as to which continent Turkey belongs to. It's a fact that it's in both Europe and Asia, same thing with Russia

I typed fairly steadily and got nowhere near all of them. But then I did squander the last few precious seconds staring at where I'd typed "Buenos Aires" wondering why it didn't take. Color me embarrassed.

Cyprus is in Europe. Part of Turkey is in Asia and part of it is in Europe.

Wow, I finally got it. 2 minutes is doable. I had to clump various countries into groups, in my head, in order to keep track. Thanks!

I spent a minute or so going crazy and doubting myself - wondering what possibly came before Albania in Europe. Can you push Estonia down to the end of the column please?

A fun quiz that's just a bit of a mess with the short amount of time and the arbitrary decision to put Estonia, DRC and Antigua in odd places. Perhaps a moderator should clean this up?

2 seconds each? C'mon. If you're going to post a typing quiz, call it that. This is NOT a geography quiz with a ridiculous time limit like that, and I'm a fast typist.

I named all the A countries and then marvelled at how many I was missing. As time ticked off I was boggled at the quiz. When it ended I remembered I wasn't doing just "A" countries. Not a high point in my Sporcle career.

Damn you, Dennis Hopper, for putting a bomb in my computer! Thought I did well until I checked the ticker. Yikes. Another minute I'd have gotten 10 more, and another hour... maybe one beyond that, still leaving 12 blanks.

Agreed with most of the above - - - this is a good concept but Not. Enough. Time. Not saying it should be ten minutes long but even at the three minute mark you'd really have to just type and type and type to get this. Try it at four?

This one might be setting a record for most time complaints. I would like to add my 'handle' to the list.
