| For this quiz, you must name a professional sports team for each of the states given. Not all states have a professional sports team; therefore, not all states are included. The professional sports teams I included are from the MLB, MLS, NBA, NFL, and NHL. You can type in the team name with the city and the name, or just the name. I also included some nicknames. However, some states (CA, FL, NY, PA, TX) only accept the team name (not city), because it exceeded the sporcle character limit for a single cell. Sorry about that; that is out of my control. If you believe that I missed a nickname that will really add quality to the quiz, tell me. Also when you answer a state correctly, it will display one of the team names from that state and a number in parentheses that represents the total amount of possible teams for that particular state. So, don’t comment saying that it displayed a different team name than the one you typed. That is something beyond my control. Lastly, some teams in this quiz are under a given state but do not actually play in that state. Do not go by where they actually play, they are categorized by the city or state in their name. For example, there is a team (won’t say, because I do not want to give it away) that plays in New Jersey, but New York is in the name. Therefore, in this quiz it will be categorized under New York.
