Cool quiz, but I'm not too sure about the accuracy of some of these - Steve Bruce left in 1996, so not entirely sure how he'd still be in by 1998 or so?

Yeah, I'm not too sure. I'll examine it when I get the opportunity. It's not a quiz error I can tell you that anyway; it must be a problem with Statbunker's data. I'll see if I can get hold of another source or so.

I agree with the two comments above plus no tevez(played in the final in 2008 and 2009) or berbatov.

Of the 11 I missed, 6 were Mikael Silvestre. Such a forgettable player.

I think another user made the same mistake with the Bruce thing. It's probably meant to be Pallister, so in that sense it hasn't changed the quiz in any way.

Steve Bruce does get everywhere. Can't get rid of him.

The quiz title says it's 1992-2010, in fact it's 1994-2010.

Good quiz... but what happened to 95/96?
| Freddie: | Sep 14th, 2011 at 17:18 GMT | 3 points |
Blackburn Rovers, that's what happened! Manchester United didn't qualify for the CL that year, as back then only the winners of the domestic leagues qualified.

Unbelievable how forgettable Barthez is when you're scrawling your mind for abysmal United keepers.. I was going on the basis that United had a shower of awful keepers before Van Der Sar..

Good quiz, surprising the players that don't make it. No Tevez, Berbatov. Didn't type Blomqvist cos I didn't think he'd be in it and forgot about Silvestre. Pretty happy that I got the rest! True fan!

As a quiz-maker I'm delighted my quiz has been published. As a Norwich fan, I'm not too happy about the Bruce quote on the quiz's tagline!

I should probably mention I have created versions of these quizzes for all other 'successful' Champions League teams (+4 appearances), as well as English XI versions for all English league teams - all can be accessed through my profile.

How can a player such as Nani have different correct percentages, depending on the year?
| Freddie: | May 13th, 2012 at 19:56 GMT | 2 points |
@Exobius: Check the created date. I've added years onto the quiz as each season is completed, so Nani will have different correct percentages.

Steve Bruce left United at the end of the 95-96 season, so I'm not sure why he appears in both of the following seasons.
