	This is not a good quiz - far too many of these are ambiguously associated with one country. Having Turkey as an answer for sultan is particularly inaccurate given that it isn't a sultanate whereas other states (e.g. Brunei) actually are.

	I totally disagree with Hidden Palace. You should know that sultans came originally as the rulers of the Turkmen and later, "sultan" became the usual title of rulers of Seljuk and Ottoman Turks. Only more recently it has remained the title of lesser rulers such as Brunei. Great Sultans are from Turkey. Enjoyable quiz.

	I knew the clue for Germany might get negative reactions. However one should not forget History and unfortunately Nazi is a word that will immediately be associated with Germany by most if not all people in the world, and this is the purpose of this quiz. If you have a better word I am willing to change but please do not propose sauerkraut. As well I expect some comments for "hamburger" from Americans, but for non Americans the term "hamburger" is definitely associated with the USA, although I am sure there are more flattering nouns evoking the USA.

	No, I agree with HiddenPalace about sultan, and there's another one I hate: Why is "hamburger" the US when Germans invented it, and it's named after a German city? Seriously, there was no better word for the US... I don't know, "baseball" or "manifest" or something?

	And now that I see your comment, regarding the US: I don't care about using a more "flattering" term- it's not like you have to use "liberty". (Though, actually, "Constitution" wouldn't be the worst clue.) But there are certainly more DESCRIPTIVE terms.

	I have tried to make the quiz easy but at the same time I refuse to use too easy clues such as names of places, cities, people, currency. In same cases the term is ambiguous as you may think of 2 or more countries, but in that case I either allow the 2 countries or keep only the one that is predominant such as cigars for Cuba or Lama for Peru. There are some well-known countries for which I could not find a good clue. I am open to suggestions to make this quiz more enjoyable for all.

	Since the purpose of the quiz is to have fun I will use your suggestion of baseball for the USA. It will not have the same result as hamburger but is still a good clue.

	Burma is spelt wrong; if you don't want to use sauerkraut use pretzel or being good at everything but don't use Nazi; I would say the sultan of Brunei is far more famous considering they used to be the richest person in the world; Ivory Coast may produce the most now but I consider cocoa to be South American and besides it should be Côte d'Ivoire

	I give up for Germany. I do not seek to be controversial. I put sausages but it is not as good a clue. I have corrected Burma. For Sultan I will allow Brunei but I am still waiting for a better suggestion for Turkey.

	No I will not put Cote d'ivoire though it's the correct name of the country, but I will accept it. I only put the name in English otherwise I would have to change almost half the countries names.

	I do not want to use part of the country's name. Today Ivory Coast is not known for any kind of trade in ivory, but mainly because it is the world's largest producer of cocoa.

	I don't understand some of the critics. Some quizzes have no personnal research, just a copy/paste from wikipedia and have a score of 4.50, whereas for this quiz, the creator made some real effort, has an average of 3.33 and is being harshly criticized with no good reason. I wasn't here when the clue was nazi, but when I saw sausage, Germany didn't came immediately to my mind. I'm pretty sure with nazi, I would have typed Germany without thinking. The word sausage is valid, but the quizcreator wants the clues to be as easy as possible. The most evident one for Germany is nazi, even though the word doesn't show a good side of the country. This apart, very nice quiz and very well done ! 5/5 because it deserves it !

	Good suggestion "kebab" for Turkey. I'll change it. For sausages I agree 100%: I do not think first of Germany but my original clue was "nazi" and was found offending. If anyone has a better clue for Germany, please let me know.

	I like the quiz. I thought Poland for sausage at first. But I assumed you wouldn't have the same country twice and I knew ghetto was Poland. Germany was the second one to come to mind. As for alternatives for Germany, maybe "wall".

	If you have to say what the clue doesn't mean, like "canal (not Egypt)", then you have a bad clue. And while llamas are associated with Peru, a lama is something else entirely, and more likely associated with Tibet.

	By the way I think this is a great quiz, though I fell short since I don't know much about the origins of dance :-). I think you could find something more representative of Greece since there are a lot of other cuisine ones and moussaka isn't limited to Greece. Maybe something to do with antiquity. The WP page on Baobab directs to Adansonia which is a tree extremely characteristic of Madagascar. Cocoa is difficult since it's native to the New World, regardless of modern production.

	For the record, I think you can take the qualifiers off of canal and buddhism. Both are much more unambiguously relevant to their respective countries than some of the other clues.

	I thought of wall for Germany but it also refers to Israel and China. I've changed moussaka for something 100% Greek. I took out Senegal because it's true that there are many kinds of baobabs in Africa and Madagascar, but Senegal exports its fruit to the US and Europe and the tree is on Senegal's coat of arms. Still it's too hard a clue compared to the others.

	1)I'll take out the extra clue for canal and buddhism. I just wanted to avoid comments on the ambiguity. They are still good clues since Panama is mostly known for its canal (not Egypt) and Nepal is the birthplace of buddhism. 2) Yes, interesting the reaction on Germany but no comments on Colombia or Vietnam!!! 3) I took out lama

	The largest religion in Nepal is Hinduism, and Hinduism's country of origin is actually in India. Also, couscous is not only a Tunisian course, it is widely used all over Maghreb, from Libya to Morocco.

	My first thought for couscous was Morocco, because coincidentally the brand of couscous I buy is called "Kasbah", then Israel because of Israeli couscous, but it wasn't hard to hone in on Tunisia.

	I actually DID think of Germany first for sausages, so it isn't that bad a clue. The one that is a bit "off" for me, though, is "bulldog" which usually is associated with England, not all of the UK.

	1)You are probably right about Buddhism, but it designates both a religion and a philosophy, and for the purpose of this quiz I thought it would fit since I mainly wanted to avoid names of people, locations, monuments, currencies...2)You're perfectly right about bulldog being associated with England, but if I had put England as the correct answer I would have had too many comments saying that it is not a country; I accept England as the correct answer 3) I like autobahn; I'll put it instead of sausages 4) couscous is originally from Tunisia and though it is now widely spread one should think of Tunisia as a 2nd or 3rd guess.

	You should accept Morocco for cous cous. Also, Lebanon for kebab. Good quiz otherwise. Kind of like "racial profiling".
