This was fun. I thought I was being very methodical but I still missed 5. There are just sooo many.

Whew, this is a great idea! Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee show up three times for some reason. And if you type in Georgia and South Carolina, the answer comes up with without typing in North Carolina. Also, no bonus for Virginia Washington, DC and Maryland? :)

On a completely different note, you might want to add that "water borders" count in the instructions or eliminate two answers. Michigan doesn't actually touch Minnesota or Illinois at any point so those two tripoints (with Wisconsin and Indiana, respectively in the middles of Lake Superior and Lake Michigan) are somewhat questionable. If you follow that logic then you'll have to include NY/CT/RI through Long Island Sound and maybe even MA/NH/ME through the Gulf of Maine (depending on how you define territorial/contiguous waters, etc). That way lies madness!

Great idea but the amount of required typing is an issue. My two cents: Accept state postal codes; Then reduce time limit to keep it challenging. If you did that, Sporcle should publish it.
