	I was cruising along like a champ, feeling pretty darn good about myself, and then hit the Gilbert and Sullivan question. "Pirates of Penzanthe"? "The Mikadothe"? Never heard of Iolanthe before. Alas.

	Lithe means athletically thin, not flexible; and swathe means wrap in cloth, not necessarily bind in bandages.

	Why did my mind all of a sudden start thinking with a lisp. get dressed = drethe. bind with bandages = enclothe. easily bent = loothe. criticize = chastithe.

	I agree, "easily bent" is misleading for lithe, which applies to one's ability to bend ones own body. Tithe more commonly means to give 1/10, as to a church.

	I agree that the 'lithe' clue needs to be modified - but it's annoying to me that I not only didn't get it, but I tried 'lythe' for 'lathe', even pronouncing it in my head, and didn't think to put an 'I' in it!

	The Styx is the river at the entrance to Hades, the one that brings the dead (and a few live heros) in, the Lethe is a different river, further inside.

	even though it tastes of mint, i tried creme de menthe for the drink. didn't even think about the other one. and the only mythological name i know is xanthe, and that didn't get me any points :(

	I must have a very strange education. Lethe, Iolanthe, no problem. Sunbathe, loathe, not a clue. I was also surprised to see seethe as I though the word meant boil. So I looked it up in the dictionary and find that my definition is archaic - probably like me!

	though it makes complete sense, I have never encountered the word in the verb form "scathe" - "a scathing review" yes, but of course, that means it must stem from a root somewhere!

	I love the weird statth here--99% got #1, okay, typical. But it dropth to 72% for #2? Wow. And another 22 pt drop to #3? Amathing. Generally thteady for the nexth 10 or so and a big drop after absinthe (all those Hemingway readerthe). I bet Daffy Duck would have aced thithe quiz.
