I nearly completed it, but couldn't understand why XCVII wouldn't work. You've included an extra V. (No Roman numeral ever contains two V's).

You shouldn't tell people which numerals are which in the description.

I agree with zenic10 but I doubt people can get very far in the quiz if they don't already know their Roman numerals.

I have no trouble using roman numerals, however my knowledge of prime numbers only goes so high, so after i got to around 30, i had to start working out the prime numbers, and then changing them to roman numerals.

Very challenging! I'm going to have to brush up on my prime numbers.

Very nice job. Particularly challenging, seeing as I haven't used Numerals in a while... :)

This is great. I was only able to get the first 12 by the end of the minute so it's a very hard challenge if you're not up on your prime numbers.

Jeepers that is tough! Only made it half way.

It's not remembering all the prime numbers that was my problem, I kept typing 1 instead of I.

I think there is too much time. Just kidding, only made it halfway. Very difficult!

I understand this is a blitz and all, but is it even at all physically possible to type them all in a minute? I mean with the mental factor ignored, like even if you had a piece of paper with all the answers written down in front of you and you just copied them without having to think, it's still borderline impossible unless you have ridiculous typing speed.

@Zak6009 There are 25 answers. 25 words per minute is not even close to being ridiculous typing speed (and the average answer in this quiz is shorter than the average word).

@Zak6009 I was intrigued by your comment, so I made a list of the first 25 prime numbers to see if I could do the quiz in less that a minute. I was able to get all 25 with 13 seconds left, and that was with several typing errors and mistakes in converting to the Roman numerals in my head (and I'm a pretty slow typer). One minute is plenty of time, at least if you don't have to think about which numbers are prime...

This is one of those quizzes you're like "How has this not been done before? So original! Simple! Fun!"

I'm all for challenging time limits, but even I think 60 seconds is a little rough.

Personally, I love short-time blitzes. There are three elements involved: quick thinking, quick typing, and accuracy. A short quiz gives a much better idea of how well you do all three combined, versus longer quizzes that either challenge just the player's scope of knowledge in a subject, or else have an inordinate number of perfect scores.

I think only a cybog can get them in 60 seconds. Give me a break.

May want to call out that you are not including 1/I as a prime number in this. Most of the other Sporcle prime number quizzes seem to include it; I know it's a grey area as to whether it should count.

@ToughQuiz: A) 1 is not prime. B) This is not a grey area. C) Most of the Sporcle prime number quizzes do not include it. D) Those which do usually attract low ratings for being wrong. OK?

1 is not a prime number as there is a theorem that states that each integer can be made by a UNIQUE product of primes. If we were to include one as prime, then this theorem wouldn't work; for example, the prime factors of 15 could be 5*3, 5*3*1, 5*3*1*1, etc.

The time limit is absolutely fine and with a longer one there would be no challenge. (And I remain confident that I will crack it next time). Hi WyvernSabres. I begin to suspect we may be the same person.

Just one short that time. Thought you might like to be kept informed.
